We had the Feast tasting menu at Bank and it was exceptional from start to finish. At just £49 per person it felt like incredible value for money, especially considering the quality, portion sizes, and variety of dishes served. The photos online really do not do it justice, everything looks and tastes even better in person.

We started with the grilled Nocellara olives with Calabrian butter alongside smoked nuts, pretzels, seeds and crackers, a brilliant opener, rich and savoury yet light enough to set the tone.

The middle courses were outstanding. The violet artichokes with tomato and peanut sauce and green harissa were vibrant and full of depth. The barbecued tomato with crispy polenta and sundried XO packed in layers of flavour. The smoked pork belly with pickled watermelon salad and mission crab butter was a real highlight, smoky, tender pork with the freshness of the salad balancing it beautifully. And the sourdough focaccia with smoked garlic oil was not only delicious on its own, but perfect for mopping up that incredible mission crab butter.

The main course of landrace pork chop with miso mustard sauce was cooked to perfection, juicy, smoky and flame grilled with just the right balance of richness. The sides completed the dish perfectly: French fries with black garlic amino butter were indulgent and packed with umami, while the baby gem salad with smoked garlic Caesar, parmesan and crouton was fresh yet bold.

Dessert was a knockout. The whipped Basque cheesecake with Sichuan strawberry and pretzel crunch was light, creamy and full of flavour, with just the right amount of texture from the crunch.

Portions throughout were generous, this really is a “feast” menu, not a tiny tasting menu. Every dish felt complete and satisfying, with the progression from start to finish flowing beautifully.

Overall, the balance of flavours, the smoky flame grilled cooking, and the generosity of the portions made this one of the best tasting menus I have had. For £49 per person, it is outstanding value. Bank is a must visit, the flavours, the cooking, and the attention to detail make it...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at BANK and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed and served by Sarah, whose attentive and friendly service added to the evening's enjoyment.

The food was exceptional, beginning with the Grilled Nocellara olives, which offered a unique and delightful twist on traditional olives and came in a generous portion. The smoked nuts were the perfect complement to our wine selection, adding a smoky depth that paired beautifully.

One of the highlights was the burnt grape salad with Cornish octopus—an absolute divine combination of flavors and textures. The Sourdough focaccia was another standout, being both light and incredibly moreish.

The wine selection was superb, and the Love O Love wine we chose was amazing, perfectly enhancing our meal. However, the true star of the evening was the Sirloin with Rendang. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the rich, flavorful Rendang sauce elevated it to new heights.

The ambience at BANK was equally impressive, providing a perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. Every aspect of our visit, from the food to the service to the atmosphere, was perfect.

I highly recommend BANK for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Bristol. We will definitely...

We just ate Sunday roasts here and my jaw hit the floor. Why have we not been here before? Let’s get to the point. You should stop reading this and go and eat there right now.

Still reading? You’re buying the very best meat, the most amazingly crispy potatoes and gravy like i’ve never tasted. I judge places, really good places, on if they can conjure up flavours i’ve never had. Maybe flavours i never thought possible. Bank does this in spades. We had the duck and lamb roasts. Perfection.

We also got desserts. I got the cheescake, looked nothing like a cheesecake but was phenomenal, tasted and looked like a deconstructed one. But the star of the show was the caramel pudding with smoked chocolate. I couldn’t believe my nose and taste buds. You have to try their caramel pudding. It’s just in a league if it’s own.

We really have wasted our lives not being here to eat before. Don’t make our mistake. Book now. You’re welcome.

We came for drinks 3 years ago and i gave it 5 stars then. We will be back to eat and to drink VERY...

BANK is our go-to Sunday roast restaurant. After embarking on the quest to find the best Sunday roast in Bristol, we stumbled across BANK and haven't looked back since. They do their dishes incredibly well, making sure everything is cooked to perfection whilst also adding twists and flairs that make it more exciting for a foodie than the general Sunday roast fare. In particular, their vegetables (which normally can be a bit sad in a Sunday roast) are great company to the main hero of the meal. The sharing roasts are an absolute treat, and my favourite roast to date was a roast lamb they did a while ago which also came with, what I can only describe as, a breaded and fried rolled stick of lamb deliciousness. The team at BANK are always super friendly and the restaurant has a spacious and easy going vibe. Would recommend booking ahead as well as booking for towards start of service as it tends to guarantee perfect roast potatoes. Their dinner menu is great too, but the Sunday roast is what keeps us going back.
