Best restaurant food I have found in Bristol. This food was delightful. Its hard to put into words just how good it is. Four of us went there and all four were speachless , one week later we are still stunned by the experience. from a 1-10 ... it was a 100. I had falafel , thought it would be plain old falafel , well , this chef could teach the whole of Morocco how falafel should be made ... he took it to the next level , the level Gordon Ramsay would wet himself if he was lucky enough to taste it. Mum had the best sandwich shes ever had , sister had the best pumpkin pasta shes ever had ( she lived in Italy for 10 years ) , and friend had best brunch shes ever had. I feel sorry for the people who have not discovered this place , I really do , I know how empty their lives must be not knowing this place exists. There is a point in time , the point when you used to goto fake , useless food venues , and the point after when you have eaten from the hands of a god , a chef who will change your tastebuds forever , it was beyond words. Read moreAbsolute gem of a cafe in the heart of Totterdown. This cafe has an amazing menu that rotates based on seasonal best produce as well as a number of staples such as their outstanding breakfast.
The food is all over totally exceptional. The confit potato cakes are absolutely legendary and even if you aren’t getting the breakfast I recommend ordering a side of them.
They have some homemade sauces like their brown sauce and pineapple hot sauce, which I believe are available to purchase in bottles.
There is a small grocery selection of things like local coffee, eggs, and handmade homewares such as vases.
The walls display artwork by local artists that can be purchased. Every time I come here these have changed so they are constantly featuring new and interesting art.
An absolute must if you’re in the area. Worth a trip into totterdown if you’re staying elsewhere in Bristol.
Gets very busy on the weekends, book in advance to avoid...

We ordered the following:
Papas A Lo Pobre; Turkish Eggs; Confit Potatoes; Iced Oat Latte; and Iced Chai Latte
Overall, I would certainly return to Sundial Kitchen to try more dishes. I've noticed they also offer pastries and cakes, along with a breakfast and lunch menu. If you decide to visit, don't miss out on the Turkish Eggs and Confit Potatoes—they're definitely...
