Bruhaha — Restaurant in Bristol

Not been before, went for the Pop up Korean food night, it was fairly chaotic. Ordered chicken burgers to be told that they’d sold out, so we opted for nachos, whilst we waited 40 minutes for the nachos we noticed lots of chicken burgers coming out. So asked again, and magically chicken burgers were back on the menu. But we couldn’t cancel our order so had to sit with some lacklustre tortilla chips with mango sauce and lumps of half melted cheddar on. Since when does preparing a bowl of nachos take 40 minutes anyway? A colleague ordered a vodka tonic to be told the vodka was sold out. Beer was ok but out of principle I refused to buy another pint at six pound something given the poor service and confusion about menu items being available/unavailable. Staff cleared the bowl of unfinished nachos without checking. Had to ask for them back. But in hindsight they weren’t worth keeping. It’s very cramped. The tables are tiny. Some couples were sat either side of an old school desk trying to eat and drink. These had barely enough space for a 7yr old with notepad and pencil in the 1970s, not appropriate to eat at. Everyone is shouting because they’ve jammed too many covers in. Excellent new-ish pub in the area, which brews its own beer. Very tasty. Restricted opening times, so check before visiting! Good range of other craft beers too, most on keg dispense. Beers are slightly pricey (in my view), but the quality was excellent, so I guess you get what you pay for. Will certainly return soon. The pub is certainly a great addition to the local scene....

So glad we’ve got a new spot for some Craft beer locally! I would say that the pouring of pints really needs a bit of attention - beers tasted flat and zero head on the pints (depending on who poured them) otherwise, the potential for a great new spot. Let’s hope it’s just a few new teething problems! I would then be more than happy to pay the £6...
