Really not impressed with the service here - this is not the fault of the two young girls waitressing. It seems to me like it's the fault of either the manager or company policy. Firstly, the restaurant was packed out & there were only two girls waitressing. They were both extremely busy and stressed and took ages to take our order. Our starter was then sat there for about 15 minutes before being brought to us partially cold (we could see it sat there and wanted to get it ourselves). The menu is so overpriced for what the food is and the portion sizes. Upon paying, the card machine wasn't working and we went to get cash out. When we came back, the waitress was having to get our change out of HER OWN PURSE. This seems crazy - why does the company have no cash?! Why rely on your staff to get money before or after their shift? Seems to me that the company doesn't treat their staff properly. We also weren't able to get the correct change because of this. First Steps in Bella Italia was greeted with the smile, even Chef was smiling behind the preparation counter.

Despite that I used one of my vouchers - and mentioned that to waiter straight away before ordering I was served really with no exception same like everyone else although I paid for my meal 65% less than usual price which I think it’s absolute deal breaker when you trying a new restaurant. So this really left a very great first impression.

When it comes to food I still have to be honest as usual, if to pay a full price for portion in my opinion could be slightly bigger slightly hotter - that would help to avoid for customer to have miss understanding between why my my meal seems slightly chewy ? Simply if the dish would have been hot at the right temperature chewinesses would have been gone so I would say 9.5 ( 4 stars on Google terms ) when it comes to taste just because of not enough heat doesn’t mean preparation ingredients , sauce...

One of the worst restrauant experiences I've had. I have been to other Bella Italia's around the country & they have been fine. We booked a table for 8 for 1pm on a Tuesday. We booked in advance so the staff were expecting us. Upon arrival we asked if we could use a voucher to which the waitress told us we could & it applied to all food but not drinks. The food took an hour to arrive which meant we were all late for work & would have to make up the time. When the bill came, we noticed the voucher had only been used for mains (some people had only ordered starters & sides). We disputed this with the waitress & she brought over the manager. Unlike the very kind and apologetic waitress, the manager was extremely rude and blamed us for the misunderstanding as we should have read the T&Cs when in reality, he should educate his staff better. We explained that we also had to wait an hour for the food in an empty restrauant to which he did not seem sorry for at all. Safe to say, I will never be going back to this branch of Bella...
