We arrived at Blame Gloria at around 11:50 for the 12:00-14:00 Mamma Mia Bottomless Brunch and had to wait in a long queue of people outside. Once we finally got in which was about 12:15, they did not have our booking and said they were fully booked but would squeeze us in, even though we had the booking confirmation. The end time on the note they gave us was 13:45 even though this was supposed to be a 2 hour long brunch and we got in late. They showed us to a table which could only be described as a shelf facing a wall, and there were 4 of us who would not be able to talk to each other and would struggle to eat off of the small surface. We complained and got given another table which had hen party decorations on it and somebody told the member of staff that it was their table. Luckily, one of the hen party said to us that they didn’t need the table and we were able to sit there which was around 12:25 by the time we were seated. At 12:45, we still did not have any drinks and in fact only had our drinks order taken twice the whole time we were there of 2 jugs between 4, even though we witnessed other tables receiving multiple jugs and prosecco at the same time. Furthermore, the glasses were dirty and had lipstick stains around the rim. The drag queen was very funny and the singers were good but as we were in a separate room, we could barely see any of this and it would’ve been worse if we were sat on the shelf. The rooms at the top had eaten their food by the time ours had even come out which was around 13:55. There was no cutlery and we tried to ask the staff but there was nobody available so had to eat with our hands which was difficult for my friend who had avocado toast. Furthermore, the food was stone cold. We missed the singalong and couldn’t get up and dance because we were still eating. Then at around 14:15 we were told to drink up and leave, even though we still had food and drinks left. For £45 per person, this was not at all worth the money and is the worst brunch I have...

Maybe it's because we were spoilt with an epic experience at Mrs Riot in London, but this just did not live up to any of our expectations.
The initial impression / service was good. The setting is just as extra as you'd expect it to be, with super cute booths. Orders for the food and drinks were taken quickly (we were told 1 bottle or jug of cocktail between 3). Drinks flowed well and we were kept topped up throughout.
The food arrived and the disappointment began. Cold, bland, poorly presented and just all round 👎 Choices were grilled halloumi burger with potato wedges, jerk chicken with rice, avo on ciabatta with wedges or BBQ pulled pork burger with wedges. A small menu usually means good food, but this was definitely not the case 😬
The drag show itself was extremely underwhelming. The Abba themed brunch was 3pm - 5pm, and we only saw glimpses of one drag queen whilst 2 back up singers in glittery jumpsuits followed. The wall which split the venue down the middle didn't help matters, but having more than one drag act would have been an improvement. For a drag show, there certainly wasn't much drag!
Cost: An eye watering £45pp (bare in mind the London show was £49.50pp). You are better off paying £30 for a regular bottomless brunch in Bristol where the...

The free drinks voucher isn’t valid on a Saturday, great marketing ploy to get you in - fair enough. The drinks however… margaritas had a syrup in them. Had to return, which the staff kindly tasted and agreed to make them correctly. The sizes of the cocktails for the price for a few was daylight robbery.
Sat down at a table that had no booking, we were moved 3 times during the course of the evening. We joked to the staff member who snapped at us for not booking a table. This was our first time there, guest list doesn’t actually grant you anything - we were shocked by the young man’s attitude.
The venue is marketed very much as a safe space for LGBTQi+. It’s a haven of stag dos, where we were hounded by men being inappropriate. Very different vibe from the London one. The bouncers were lovely & the bar tenders were smiling at least.
We felt like we’d just been the mean girls X stag do collab night. You can’t with us and if you do, be prepared to be pounced on by stag dos. Appreciate a venue needs business and with that includes everybody, I would just perhaps avoid if stag dos...
