I have been to Walkabout couple times, and came yesterday with my friends for a leaving party. We had great time as we ended up being the only people in the area place. The drinks were good and I really enjoyed my meal. We had couple rounds of drinks and we had great time while watching football. Plenty space for sitting down, nice bar and screen everywhere to watch sports. Lovely experience.

Huge bar, the cricket was on when I walked in. It was a Monday late afternoon so more or less empty but huge amount of screens and one giant projector screen looks like somewhere great to watch live sport. Some good deals on drinks and genuine aussie beer and food. Chicken parmigiana was okay but as you'd expect. Place is done nicely and located very close to the lovely st Nicholas markets

Good tv spread for watching the football although volume could be louder. Understand why they limit the menu on match day but a few more options would be great including dessert. Don’t bother with the 10 pint pour your own buckets. They leak all over the table. Good app ordering system abs fast service. Good Covid rules in place and people checking masks were work whilst walking around

Terrible service, overpriced beers, really poor staff. On the bonus side they have lots of TVs to watch sports if you're into that sort of thing.

After ordering our drinks in time for the rugby to start we were told that they needed to change a barrel as it had run out. Fair enough, we watched the start of the game whilst we waited. Five minutes later, bar tender hadn't moved from his place. Staff everywhere, no-one doing anything to help. Asked what the hold up was and told that he didn't know how to change a barrel. OK. Asked him to get someone else to do it, he said sure. Continued watching the game as he continued to serve other people. Ten minutes into the game he's still not changing the barrel. Called him over again and had insisted he get someone to make it right. Nods his head but ultimately doesn't do anything. Continues to serve other customers. Fifteen minutes now. Ask to speak to his manager. Manager was rude and couldn't be bothered to help either. We were dumbfounded. Surely the management knows how to change a barrel. Twenty minutes into the game, still no drinks that we'd paid for. Start to get really annoyed. Speak to the bar man again and tell him that he needs to offer us a different drink that he can pour or refund us. This is beyond a joke. He eventually agrees just in time for the manager to come back and tell him that he's changed the barrel now. Twenty five minutes all this took. No apologies, no nothing.

I can understand the possibly inexperienced bar man. But not the manger on duty. You don't expect much from places like this but at the very least you expect them to be able to pour beer. At least take some pride...

This place is an absolute joke. Went to watch the Fury v Wilder 3 fight. Upon just entering the establishment I walk up to the TV to see what's going on with the undercard, within a single minute I have 3 people come up to me saying they're going to smash my teeth out. The worst thing is that your supposed bouncers supported the behaviours of these uncouth small men. Something seriously needs to change here, I came to this bar with family and friends, all excited to watch the fight and none of us have ever had so much as a confrontation before. I payed £40 for this and was asked to leave within an hour of arriving. Money down the drain and completely ruined what should have been a brilliant fight night. Shame on your door staff for enabling this sort...

After paying to get in had a long queue for the bar. Downstairs the floor was so sticky it took great effort to pull my feet off - no good for dancing unless you don't move your feet - the worst I've seen. The music downstairs is all modern pop and fairly predictable. Upstairs the floor was better which was fine as long as your music style is retro - very retro! We went on St Patrick's and they'd run out of Guiness by the time we arrived which strikes me as poor planning. In the end though the group I was with had a good night - mainly the result of alcohol and the opportunity to dance - so as long as your expectations aren't too high and you have a good group of friends, you can...
