Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Bristol

Update June 15th 2023: what a lovely local Costa we have here. Tops caring manageress and her team . Excellent! Am sure many as I are so grateful for here and the persevering work hours and days & awkward situations borne with, that the staff, & good leaders, here put in. Many!! thanks! Excellent !! Onwards so at March 2023. Excellent good true boss lady I. talented in the role, and her senior and other colleagues the same persevering, & for us locals so, through tough days and all sorts. Much !! appreciated it is. Many! thanks. Earlier review was : One of our locals, Westbury-on-Trym, and a great coffee shop I reckon. One of the many of various chains and independents the same in UK, and our local realms England coffee shops, who give us such hard working young staff who stick to their job well and kindly &- persevering with awkward situations in tough days for us all. We all much value that cup of coffee and hospitality corners for our lives. And maybe other things such as booze at home and trips to the cinema could go by the way in tough days for money, and enjoy a simple cup of coffee and touch of good food fayre, such as the very tasty sausage roll they do now here. A quality lunchtime or breakfast brunch snack of good nutrition. They of course do other food of quality for those of us with vegan desires/beliefs, and counter what folk say because maybe it is politically moved ?? Fantastic service at this branch. The staff are welcoming, professional and well mannered. I just wish that Costa as a company would provide more vegan food options. Their drinks provision is light-years ahead of their food. My husband and I pooped in for lunch. Apart from popcorn and crisps, our only option for food was a dry toasted tea cake each: butter is included, but they do not provide vegan margarine/spread! We bought a pot of jam, but it was not the same. Shame. If they had more vegan options this would be a 5-star review for sure. Come on Costa - your vegan fans have been asking you for years to provide a vegan...

I arrived here just as a lady was kicking off about an order being wrong, the staff handled it very graciously but she wasn't having any of it and left very grumpily. I just wanted to say to the trainees that were there DONT LISTEN TO HER, you were doing amazing and starting any new job is hard, mistakes are made. It's how you act afterwards that counts. Keep going guys!! Also my thanks to the manager who was keeping a level head and helping out all the trainees as best she could despite there being only one of her and several trainees. And at the end my coffe was perfect...
