My wife and I visited Five Guys in Bristol Cabot Circus today, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. We each ordered a cheeseburger and fries, and from the moment we stepped in, the staff were exceptional. They took the time to explain the different sauce and topping options, which we really appreciated, and they were incredibly professional and polite throughout. Special shout-out to the young chap in the bright red uniform who was going through his training—he was cheerful and added to the positive atmosphere.
This was my first time dining at Five Guys, and I have to say, the food lived up to the hype! The cheeseburger was outstanding—two full beef patties smothered in melted cheese, with ketchup and mayo mixed in somewhere, creating a delicious, juicy mess. The cheese oozed everywhere, making every bite indulgent and satisfying.
As for the fries—what can only be described as a "bucket" of them—they were in such a generous portion that we ended up taking the leftovers home. The fries were perfectly seasoned and plentiful, ensuring we had more than enough to enjoy later.
While the total came to £30 for two cheeseburgers and fries, we didn’t mind the cost at all, as the quality and portion sizes were absolutely worth it. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and packed with flavour.
Overall, Five Guys in Bristol Cabot Circus delivered a brilliant first-time experience for me. The food was delicious, the portions generous, and the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. We’ll...
Read moreUpdate June 2022: 5 Guys has got rid of the self-service order/payment machines! Hurrah! You now speak to a human at the counter. My human took my order with a friendly smile. The milkshake was made and delivered quickly, and the rest of the order followed soon after. Impressive organisation in the kitchen; all the staff went about their business competently even though it was peak lunch hour. And the food was tasty and well-made as always. I'm happy to upgrade my review back to 5 stars!
Original review: 1 star for the Cajun Fries which were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. 1 star for the cleaner who sanitised our table with a smile. Minus 1 star for having an electronic ordering/payment machine without ink so our order slip came out blank, with no order number. Minus 1 star for the senior staff member who upon being told the problem, rudely said there was nothing he could do and walked away. Minus 1 star for having finally traced our order in the system (after appealing to a different staff member) they still prepared it incorrectly.
It appears the kitchen simply collapsed under the strain of a bank holiday lunch rush, with little order or...
Read moreI never been before in Five Guys, but today I decided to go there and check it. In restaurant was so loud music that I couldn't hear what staff is asking me about during ordering burger. I took chessburger with middle fries and drink (£15!).
During waiting for order, I took my drink and I was really impressive by the number of different drinks. Great place to check different drinks!
After 5 minutes, I got my order, but on the bag I could feel with my hand only oil like someone shed it. I have spotted free sit outside and I started checking my order.
My burger was pretty small, but got a lot meat inside with a great taste, but the chess and rest stuff in my burger wasn't that great. I couldn't eat it like a normal burger (with hands), because after the first bite it literally falls apart on smaller pieces and I needed to eat them separately... The fries were in small cap and if I could know what's the real size of it and how it can most, I will change my mind. Also half of them were without any taste (even salt), but another half was too salty!
Summary: I was really disappointed. If not a drink, I will...
