I cannot recommend this gem of a restaurant highly enough. We visited during Covid19 and their distancing/hygiene care was exactly as it should be... Nothing more to say about that.

The greeting when we arrived was warm and welcoming as we were shown to our table. The restaurant was clean, modern and high end.

No loitering waiters pressuring us to choose, but no delays either. As soon as poppadoms and pickles were delivered we knew we were going to be in for a treat. We both chose a starter which was like something from the masterchef final.... Beautifully presented, delicious and authentic but very modern.

I assume it was the manager was attentive and friendly and keen to ensure our food was to our satisfaction but without being imposing.

Our main courses were equally as wonderful as were the accompaniments and sides and again, beautifully presented.

I was given a commentary (pomegranate belini I believe) drink which was a very welcome touch as it was my birthday and a sharing desert, even though we were both full to bursting.

I would be surprised if anyone failed to experience what we did last night..... I can't...

Thank you Sam and the rest of the team for being THE BEST Indian restaurant In the South West! (Told you’d I’d get round to writing the review I promised in June 😂) We had 14 of us booked in for my dads retirement celebration and hands down this was the easiest and smoothest group booking I’ve ever experienced. You normally expect a couple of mistakes/issues with food when you have a larger group but from start to finish, the team made our evening perfect with flawless service and food. Remembering all our names and dishes was a great touch, presentation is 👌 and flavours are beautiful. Not an oily korma in sight! X4 of us returned again last Monday for my birthday.. hadn’t booked due to being a bit of a last min decision. We had the place to ourselves and were spoiled rotten. I had a birthday drink, card and cupcake (and singalong!) Once again, you guys have set the bar high and we will...

GO HERE! DON'T HESITATE. BEST FOOD! Booked a table off of a recommendation from a friend, mistakenly turned up early, the host greeted us and seated us as soon as possible, really welcoming. We asked for additional starters and they were happy to make the adjustment and I don't even think they added it to our final bill. Food came out in good time and was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection. I loved the onion bhaji.. We had complimentary poppadoms & 4 different sauces AND a dessert to share. This is by far the best service I've ever received and I personally was not a fan of Indian cuisine before visiting here, I'm converted! Will DEFINITELY be returning. All the food is beautifully presented, tastes exquisite and the team their are so lovely, polite and have a little laugh with you!

Probably the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The starter was on a different level - salmon tikka with the different types of sauce and curly vegetables. Beautifully presented and I also enjoyed different flavours and textures with sauces and/or vegetables. The whole experience was amazing. The lamb shank was melting in my mouth but it was huge and I could not finish and I felt so guilty. I'm not a local but if I have a chance to come back to Bristol I'd definitely visit here again. Highly recommended to anyone who loves Indian cuisine.

Without a shadow of a doubt the best Indian food in Bristol. I know it's said for a lot of Indian restaurants, but I can finally say my search for a proper dum Biryani in Bristol is over! That Lamb shank masala is out of this world! Staff are true romantics too- they helped us celebrate our anniversary in style! Places don't often do that these days. Parking is a little inconvenient (better after 7pm), but that's genuinely the only blemish on an otherwise perfect visit. Can't wait for my next visit!
