Me and my Partner were visiting Bristol from Birmingham on the weekend of 12th February. As I am Coeliac it can be a very daunting and anxious thing to eat out. We chose to go to Zizzi's. I had a look online at the menu and could see there was a good range of food I could choose from to eat. I booked online and noted down I was coeliac and needed a Gluten Free menu. From the moment we arrived untill we left we had the most amazing time. All staff were friendly and so helpful. We were given an extra vase on our table so all staff knew there was a dietary requirement and we were told that only the managers would take our order and serve our food. I was able to have a starter, main and dessert that was amazing! I regrettably didnt get the name of the manager who served us but he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and safe. He was always one step ahead and double checked all dishes i ordered were safe. It was one of the most overwhelming experiences ive had out since having to go Gluten free. We will definitely be going back and cant thank the staff enough 😁😁... 100% recommend for people to try Zizzi's Clifton Bridge.

Today, my family and I spent a lovely afternoon in Bristol and stumbled upon the wonderful Zizzi Italian restaurant. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality by the friendly staff, and the overall ambience was simply beautiful. We opted for the 3 course meal package and decided to go with the vegan meatballs, Italian garden pizza with red berries and pesto sauce, and lemon cheesecake for dessert Let me tell you, everything was absolutely amazing! The pizza was cooked to perfection with its thin and crispy crust, and the toppings of red berries and pesto sauce were a delightful combination. As for the vegan meatballs, my kids couldn't get enough of them and even paired them with some delicious in-house soft drinks. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Zizzi and can't wait to come back again with the whole family. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch - what more could we ask for? Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Last time we were at Zizzi Clifton was 3 years ago and we were very happy. The service was fantastic, the GF pizza was made with fresh ingredients which you could see and feel, the gluten free pizza base was handmade, thin and crispy, it was simply delicious. In November this year we decided to take our teenager for a birthday pizza again. This was our 6th visit to Zizzi. We went in with the mindset that it would be really tasty. As always. Everything was going well until we placed the order. When the waitress brought the GF pizza, the magic was gone. The pizza base looked like a store bought product, and it tasted like one too. Topping: one mushroom scattered on the pizza and 3 leaves of who knows what they were. All covered in what looked like cheese sauce. A total disaster. I feel cheated

I visited zizzi in Clifton on Saturday 15/10/2022 along with two of my friends, the guy that greeted us was very friendly, so we had high hopes as this was the first time we had been, however when seated a waitress came over to take our drinks order, we explained that we had only just sat down and didn’t have a chance to look at the menu, she responded with a very rude eye roll and just walked off. We decided to order our drinks and food on the app as we didn’t want her to come back over, myself order a cocktail and my two friends order soft drinks, the same rude waitress came over and proceeded to tell us that we all needed ID even though it was only one person having an alcoholic drink, I explained this to her and she said she would talk to the manager and come back with a response, she didn’t bother coming back which obviously shows that this is not an actual rule but something she chose to make up due to the incident before. Our food arrived very quickly for a Saturday night and the food was nice but no anything impressive, I asked the same waitress for a few mayos as we had a sharer in the middle of the table, she came back with one pot that had about a teaspoon of alveoli in it, the portion sizes were very small on the pasta dishes and the prices aren’t cheap, the desert we had was just two store bought waffles with some banana and ice cream which is very disappointing, overall the service from the specific waitress was disgusting, I work in hospitality myself and understand how stressful it is working on a weekends but I would never treat a customer the way she treated us, she needs to learn to have some patience and smile more because she completely ruined this experience for us but the food was nice just not worth the price. I will also be taking this complaint further and it was unacceptable...

Today, I, my wife, our child and one of my friends visited the Zizzi, Bristol, Clifton Village to have lunch and celebrate my friend's birthday. We entered the restaurant at 14:40, and within 5 minutes our orders for drinks and food were taken by a waitress. Our drinks were delivered to the table in less than 5 minutes. But after waiting so long there was no sign of our food - the restaurant was not busy at all. After 45 minutes of waiting, a staff came to our table, without introducing himself he said he had received our order just now (he read our order, and yes it was our order) and he didn't know why it took so long for him to receive our order! He then stared at us, like he was expecting us to apologise and explain why such a miscommunication between him and the waitress had happened! The lack of communication between the waitress and the kitchen/staff was extremely disappointing. But more than that, the unprofessional behaviour of the staff was shocking. We felt we were not welcome in the restaurant, and decided to leave after sitting in the restaurant for almost 1 hour, without receiving our food.

Today, without any exaggeration, was one of the worst experiences I have ever had eating out (in this case we didn't really eat anything!). The restaurant and the staff ruined our birthday celebration, and we decided to leave the restaurant at around 15:50 with a hungry, disappointed and...

Went yesterday with my mum. Wouldn't usually pick to eat out at chains but my mum had clubcard vouchers to use. When sat down, our waiter promptly brought us over some free crisps and ask what we fancied to drink. I then ordered a pork belly dish while my mum ordered a garlic meatball pasta. Food came in a decent time and a different waiter to our main one offered to grate lots of fresh parmesean onto my mums pasta which was good. However, when i started eating, some of the food in my dish had not been cooked correctly. I let the waiter know and she brought the dish away and then brought me back a new one in about 10 minutes. Unfortunately though, the same problem happened again. Instead of getting an entirely new dish again, i just asked if she could get me a different side dish and she was very happy to do this. Further, once we had finished our mains, she offered me and my mum a dessert each on the house. I got a rasberry and white choc tirsmisu, and my mum had a choc fudge cake. Both tasty and decent portion sizes for desserts. Although the food we chose was not great, and my dish was messed up twice, the service from our waiter was really really brilliant and we appreciated the way they tried to resolve the...
