Food was lovely, had filipino flavours and overall had great taste. I ordered the BBQ short ribs with pinoy bbq sauce, mac salad and slaw. The mac salad bought back childhood memories of the typical sweet filipino macaroni salad and the thinly cut beef short ribs were so flavourful and soft yet had a nice chew to it. My husband had the fried sea bass which was also really delightful (I'm going to order this next time) and we both had the pusit and honey glazed chicken bites to share. The squid (pusit) is probably some of the best I've had. The sauce had a nice umami taste with a hint of spice and even though it had quite a bit of sauce, the squid held its crispy batter...I enjoyed it so much. A few things.... it did take quite some time to make, considering we were the only ones in the restaurant and it didnt seem like there were any delivery orders. Also, it was two people working...one girl who had long blonde hair and a young man....both appeared to be cooking and both did not wear hair nets....and the girl did not tie her hair up....we're lucky we didnt have any hair in our food (at least none we didnt see). I do think there were some filipino flavours but I'm not sure if its the most authentic....they used basmati rice and we love to eat jasmine rice....also we don't really eat coleslaw.

I will definitely start off by saying the Loaded Fries with the slow cooked beef was definitely phenomenal and the main highlight of this meal! Great portion size, full of flavour and definitely unique however being honest and true, the Insal chicken was an extreme let down. The Insal chicken which should be the main attraction, lacked flavour and lacked chicken. The prices for the main, I expected more chicken or even better flavour to make up for the lack of chicken. This wasn’t the case and the bowl was filled with bland, Mac Salad and Garlic Rice. Really really bland for a meal at that sort of price. I finished the Slaw salad before finishing anything else as it had the most flavour. The service from the guys behind the counter were quite welcoming and quite accommodating which I couldn’t fault.

Kusina. A new restaurant with a few seats inside. It seems to be focused mainly on takeaway, judging by the number of delivery drivers coming and going. However, the interior is cozy and clean. We ordered the fried sea bass with rice and vegetables, and I have to say we both really enjoyed it :) Friendly service too!

Not only the best food in the area, but in town!! Genuinely unreal value for money - the price you pay for what you get is unbelievable. I had the 8 hour slow cooked beef that just melts and with the honey glaze sauce to top it off. I tried some of my friends Jerk Inasal and I feel that you could pick something with your eyes closed and still be very satisfied with the meal. You do not want to miss this place when you're...
