We woke up this morning and my wife said to me, 'I fancy avocado and poached eggs...'. This kind of ruled out my local greasy spoon. I've been here once in the past, after hospital surgery, so I knew what this place can offer. Definitely scoring brownie points with the wife from this trip. We were met with a brilliant welcome from the staff, almost made you feel known, even though you didn't know them. Extremely friendly. I've ordered what I had before, the Chori, hashbrowns and Huevos - I'm not going to lie, this looks like a small portion but really isn't! This pushed me to my belly's worth. My wife ordered Poached eggs on avocado sourdough toast with spiced potato skins. The food came out, my wife prodded the poached eggs... liquid, gold coloured yolk appeared from both eggs. Win-win for husband. Mine, just like the first time I went, brilliant. Slight spiced sausage, two epic hashbrowns and the same, gold yolked poached eggs. Although this is more of the expensive breakfasts, the quality of produce, the way its cooked, the presentation and the welcoming are more than worth it. It's not an everyday breakfast, but my God, what a treat when you visit. Definitely recommend a trip here! My wife isn't a sweet person, we haven't had any, but the sweet counter looks incredible!!!

As an Argentinian living in Cardiff, I was stoked to hear there was an Argentinian bakery in Bristol. The bakery is authentic, with the sweetest dulce de leche, very nice pastries such as vigilante, canñoncito de dulce de leche, medialuna, and facturas con crema pastelera, this is definitely worth a visit. I also had a beef empanada, and it was the authentic Argentine flavor, done with the right spices, it was juicy and fried just right. The portion was quite big, even for Argentinian standards, but it was definitely worth eating. Definitely recommend it if you have a sweet tooth or want to try something different (or familiar, if you're a fellow Argentinian 🇦🇷♥️)

New fave, and seems undiscovered by the masses for now…as someone else said, why queue down the road when you can come here, enjoy the ambience and not be crammed in. It’s the best brunch spot in Bristol…in my opinion…the baked goods are also beautiful and delicious, and not your usual run of the mill. Amazing value for money, I’m an addict! The Hashbrown & Huevos are my fave, and the Sapa Paraguaya corn bread is a perfect snack with coffee (which is also perfect) both remarkable value for what you get…everyone should try it! 🥰 but not too many…it’s our little secret! 🤫

I come here fairly regularly on a weekend morning and all tables are usually full after 30 mins, for good reason. I cannot stress enough that these are by far the best pastries in Bristol, best I've had in the UK, and are comparable the best I've had around the world. Beautifully flaky pastry, vibrant flavours, and very appealing to the eye as well as the taste buds. I've had most of the hot brunch options and recommended the brunch plates any day. Very satisfying portion, beautiful taste, and, great balance of textures. The empanadas are also noteworthy. The coffee leans on the more bitter side/darker roast but has great texture and offers decaf and iced coffee options among a range of teas. My favourite café in the UK. Also on the cheaper side of food in this area which is just a bonus. Although I would pay a premium for the food here compared to other cafes such as Pinkman's, FED, Deck, or...
