I'm so disappointed with this meal and angry at how much I paid for this on a delivery. This is the most bland Persian food I have ever eaten in my life. The lamb is very tasteless and a little dry and the salad that came with it is a small sad looking pot of some iceberg lettuce and bits of cucumber without any type of dressing... You could at least serve it with shirazi and this would have some flavour to the meal. The chilli sauce is clearly not homemade and tastes likes it's come out of a massive vat like you'd get from a cash and carry and like what you'd get from a cheap kebab shop. This is an absolute insult you charge this much for such tasteless and dull food when Persian cuisine is flavoursome and beautiful normally. I hoped to find something wonderful in Bristol and was excited to try it, but this is far from it. Never ever again! I think a lot of the reviews here (many have no other reviews) are clearly fake ones. Disgusting overpriced food. Avoid!

We had great experience in this Persian restaurant, the starter with aubergines, garlic and eggs was to die for and the nice bread with sauce was nice addition to it. The starters are approx £7 and you can get some extra bits to go with it for £2. For the main we went for chicken/lamb mix grill which came with freshly made rice and same veggies. Dessert was really tasty too. We had Persian saffron/ pistachio ice cream which was thick and cream with a bit of hints of rose water. And you also get free water so if you don’t want any drinks then this just goes well with meal. The portions are generous and the lady who served us was very nice. We booked table as it’s quite busy place. Definitely worth the visit.

we order a food from this restaurant chicken fillet n lamb kofta and we just said them the lamb is not cook well so we requested her that can you please cook it well and then the shop owner came down and he started yelling at us why you said its not cooked well and he said if we go to your Indian restaurant then we said it like that then what will you do , and afterwards he said where are you from ? and we realised that the owner is racism and we don’t like behaviour of that guy its totally unbearable he said so many things to us as we are different we are not human he treated as slaves , and we don’t recommend this restaurant anyone. customer experience 0

WORST RESTAURANT EXEPERIENCE EVER. Where to begin, the service was non existent, from waiting 15 minutes for pur order to be taken, to our drinks taking 25 mins. The front of house are non existent and were told it was very busy......there were 6 other customers. The starters arrived after 40 minutes, some shop bought hummus with no flavour. Some yoghurt with no flavour and some warm paste that could have been digested earlier in the evening such was its questionable consistency. We should have walked out then, but we stayed. The regret among us was palpable. The mains arrived after waiting for over 1 hour. What arrived was enough flavourless rice on each plate to feed all the empty seats of those wise enough to not come here. Next up was some chips, delivered between courses and of the highest quality , sorry, I was thinking of somewhere else. These were crinkle cut oven chips. Only the finest mccains from persia will do. Next to this was overcooked poor quality flavourless meat. For the chef who was solely responsible for cooking this, stop. The most flavoursome thing we had was a glass of water. Oh yeah and nothing but birdsong came through the speakers ALL EVENING. This restaurant experience was a masterclass in multisensory torture and we paid for it. This is only a restaurant for the real masochists. Don't come here, just don't. Not even for a bet. Just...

Despite the negative reviews, which people must always look at and take note - wherever/whatever the place may be. And Despite my own prejudices about this place - from the outside looking in, this place never looks busy, looking in this place through the window, there was nothing inside and it felt like a money laundering front. Despite all of the above, I came here with my children and friends and can confirm this place is great

I don't understand the long wait for food someone mentions, no bad service- the waiter didn't talk to us but I assume English is not their first language, lady was lovely and the chef gave us a nod and smile. I don't understand the negative food reviews either, food was plentiful and delicious and the place accommodated for a family inside as well as for a table of older men as well as several other tables

Unfortunately we didn't take photos of our food as we tucked in and all was eaten, except some rice

Definitely come here again

Don't judge a book by its cover, give...

Honestly, this place didn’t live up to the hype at all. We picked this restaurant after reading some good reviews and even booked a table in advance. But when we got there, no one was at the front, and we stood around awkwardly until someone finally came over.

Even though we had a reservation, they just gave us a table right next to the toilets, not cool. The waiter came to take our order almost immediately before we had a chance to decide, which felt super rushed.

The service was pretty bad overall. We had to ask for basic stuff like ice and straws, and even then, it took forever. The starter tasted burnt, and the main course was just average, nothing special at all.

When it came time to pay, we waited ages because the owner was outside smoking, and the rest of the staff didn’t seem to care. Later, we realized they had overcharged us, but we were already too far away to go back.

In short, the service here is really poor, and the food isn’t worth it. Definitely wouldn’t...
