WE had trouble parking near our usual venue so when we did get a space outside the House Cafe we decided to give it a try, it looked inviting, it was clean and the menu up on the wall above the counter looked reasonable.
My mate isn't keen on a Full English and chose to go for the Scrambled Eggs (advertised as three eggs) and I went for a Bacon Sandwich (£3 ) with two mugs of tea it came to £10.60 which was a bit expensive but if the food is good, I don't mind paying.
I try not to criticise the food in reviews but a cafe should be able to get the basics like a bacon sandwich and scrambled eggs right and on this occasion they didn't
I hope our experience was just a one off and another day they will get it right.
