I am not from Bristol and was really hungry after my morning meeting. I have a very particular diet that I follow, being a dairy free vegetarian and eating fish, l can't eat chips and l am fed up with just having to order fish and chips without the chips.
So heading to Cabot Circus, l walked past the prettiest sandwich board l had ever seen seen with a photo of the tastiest looking good, l walked past then seen the same attractive looking food through the window on the menu boards in the shop.
Well, it's true what they say... "you eat with your eyes" my tummy rumbled and l backtracked and popped inside to study the menu boards, my eyes were drawn to the same dishes that were on the sandwiche board outside.. It said "All day Breakfast", with mouth-watering photos of flat bread with various toppings one for vegans, one for vegetarian and one regular.
Reasonably priced, made fresh while you wait. You place the order, then go and take a seat and they call you when the order is ready.
Mmm l have to say.. That it did not disappoint. I was as tasty as it looked. I ordered a latte with Almond milk.
The other side of the sandwich board had the most delicious looking shakes,/ smoothies with vegan cream option and vegan milk.
It took all the will power l had to walk out of the delightful coffee shop without buying those shakes.
I had even considered convincing myself that it was for a good cause. It is my duty as a Google guide to taste things before recommending after all finding good vegan and vegetarian options are really difficult. As most places will tag on a sorry looking side salad and charge you an arm and a leg.
So next time you are at Cabot Circus opposite Ann Summers shop, and you are vegan or vegetarian and your mates are not, no one needs to feel bad, enjoy yourself, l highly recommended it.
Check out the photos of the shop and my rather tasty,...
Read moreI come here more or less every Saturday as the Matcha they serve is really nice but they're also deserving of a review as the staff are absolutely lovely here.
Every time I've come to this location I've been greeted with a smile, they take the time to make drinks properly and overall do a great job at representing the brand. I've had nothing but good experiences with the team here and for someone who values good service this place ticks all the boxes. Any staff member who has worked on a Saturday here deserves very high praise - special shout-out to the girl who made my Strawberries & Cream Matcha today (11/01/25 around 18:00) as she was really helpful with redeeming my reward on the app.
Despite the great staff they also have a really nice range of drinks, cakes and food here with seasonal changes to the menu etc so I 100% recommend...
Read moreI end up visiting Soho coffee once every 6 or so months and every time I leave feeling disappointed. I feel like everything sounds delicious on paper and then just tastes... Meh.
Today I gave it another chance, and got the Chicken Fajita Protein Pot and Minestrone Soup, paying £7.30 altogether (and I hadn't even got a drink). The protein pot was essentially a very salty snack and the price was pretty ridiculous based on that (£3.10 out or £3.70 to eat in - an extra 60p to have it in what is a very average coffee shop).
I think it was as I worked through the watery, flavourless, £3.60 soup that I came to the true realisation of the mistake I'd made in coming back here. This review just serves as a reminder to me not...
