What used to be a place for ruinous 5am afterparties is now full of the same people, just older, kids in tow having a relaxed lunch or walk around saying "hi bear" to the animals. It's a really nice part of Bristol these days and very different to how it was 10 (15!) years ago. Don't bother driving there because you'll never find somewhere to park, and the narrow streets are so much better without people stealing the residents' spots. Also, spend your money, because it might be a pretty expensive place to live these days, but places like this need the cash! Staff are great and made my kid laugh by pulling ridiculous faces, and if you want a pint, you're within a very short walk of some of the best...

Super place, great kids' play area, staff generally lovely. Toilet can be a bit overcontended, it can be a bit pricey (but then they don't skimp on ingredients and they like to pay their staff - this is a long way from cynical chain store territory). The selection of savouries is sometimes limited, especially for veggies and kids, but generally a sound, right-on sort of place using genuinely good and ethical ingredients. Building has a hand carved "hobbit" aesthetic and it's worth a visit just to check that out. The food, service and atmosphere are unlikely to disappoint....

The best way to describe this gorgeous spot is - community. I do not live around this area, but everything around this place just pulsates love, care and tenderness. Children laugher, so many groups coming and going and everyone is welcome. Just what you need and get when you are part of something wonderful. Menu may be small, but food is fresh and made to order and OMG everything is so good! Staff, even the loyal pupper (dog) so friendly!

Been here once and already wish to go back!

Also, the interior-that's something that takes you on the journey and cuddles you...

A great cafe with a beautiful balcony to take in the sun. Lots of little ones running around and enjoying the playground next door! Their menu changes a lot. When I went there were four items on the menu. A bap (pictured), a soup, pre-made beans on toast and a rarebit. So the selection is small but the food was good. The bap was £10 and it came on its own so I would call that expensive. The coffee was great. Would go again but would hope for more options on the menu!

Always a great place to visit for 30 mins on a Saturday morning, pat the pigs on the head, chuckle at a duck flapping about in the pond, and stare at a goat pondering your own material limitations and the uselessness of your own existence in the grand scheme of things. The new classrooms and facilities built over 2016 look amazing, and the farm cafe over the road (serving products from the farm itself) do amazing food and coffees.
