Whilst moving to Bristol I bemoaned the death of the 'local' . . . until someone very politely pointed me to the Annexe. It's a 'blokes' pub . . . not to say that you don't get a good number of ladies in . . . but two of, shall we say upwardly-mobile local ladies, have said to me oh I've never been in there, not my sort of place. Ah well, their loss. Fabulous quality food at a great price . . . best value pound for pound sunday lunch in Bristol. One word of warning . . . if you want the pork . . .yum . . . get in early. It's not often I get a guest that beats it . . .still I aint no connisseur . . . All in all great place to watch your footie and enjoy a good crowd . . .as long as that Swansea supporting bloke aint in . . .noisy, annoying git he is (he might have died during The Lions finale...
