Nothing to like about this place. Went in yesterday 13th December. Not one single Christmas decoration. Manager lady said she can't be bothered. I ask myself why am I bothering going in there. This pub has gone from bad to worse. The layout and atmosphere actually reminds you of COVID lockdown. Truly horrible. Cheap and nasty food for those with low eating-out budgets. Nothing good. Sad and outdated range of beers no proper lager. Very disappointed. It used to be a good pub years ago. Avoid it if you can.

Update.. Summer 2024....closed most of the time because the manager finds it 'mentally draining' to talk to people. If it could only change in to a pub that would sell decent lager, not home-brew local English dishwater, served by staff who want to be there, and a manager without a chip on his shoulder, it would be so nice for local people to enjoy. Attracts lots of students glued to phones who don't like ordering at bars. Terrible.
