In short, ineffectual customer service and more authentic food options elsewhere. At length, close to half main options not available at 6pm. Ok, it happens. Still pretty keen on the meat share plate even though no ribs, so will add to it from the vegetarian share plate. Can’t do that, can’t change the share plate. But it’s already changed by no ribs? Nope. Had to have double of an option already on the meat share plate. Seemed like a good way to run out of options to me? But ok, more wings. Wait staff did not think they had the beer I had just seen, I assured them they did, after checking, we agreed. A plate of deep fried chicken appeared. Some pulled pork candy. Would have expected to see some bbq, but no. No hot sauce to be found in restaurant. None. Of any kind. Had to ask after searching. Was bought from kitchen. Hot sauce was delicious and potentially even fresh made. Paying the bill was challenging as the staff were sure we were a group with another couple who came in 15 minutes later and were seated by the same staff, sitting a few tables away. The staff were smiley, just pointless. The food was tasty enough, just non-authentic. The Arbour IPA was delicious. We will look for alternatives next time we want ‘Caribbean’...

Will never get food from this particular biblos again. The standards are low, staff are RUDE. This restaurant is nothing compared to the stokes croft original.

I called before hand to let them know about dietary requirements, a lady answered who said “yes, biblos”yes? How about hello!! huffing and puffing. Maybe she’s had a bad day but cheer up it’s lunch time the days barely started.

She then passes the phone to a man who said he’ll make my wrap with no other veg than LETTUCE as per my dietary requirement. Please tell me why I received a sloppy mess of gone off salad leaves carrots and cabbage? Don’t even get me started on the sauce that was curdling. Do you seriously heat up the wrap with salad inside the wrap? That’s really gross.

To top it off I then called to ask why he didn’t follow the requirements? He then blatantly lied saying “I said it comes with all these added extras” sir no tf you didn’t, if that were the case I would NOT have ordered.

Here’s a picture of the monstrosity 👍🏽 (For some reason the pic won’t upload I’ll do it on a...

Terrible service, staff seem to have no idea what they are doing. Starters took over 50 minutes to arrive (after asking staff several times). Food was OK, mixed platters were good. Unfortunately the service was appalling, many items weren't available but we weren't told until 20 minutes after they took our order. Finally they served dairy ice cream which was advertised as vegan. One of our party is lactose intolerant so luckily we checked before she ate it.

After we complained about the ice cream, the manager didn't acknowledge us but instead went out for a cigarette, leaving us waiting for 20 minutes to pay the bill. The manager then stated that there was a service charge for tables of six - we refused to pay this as the experience was...

Probably one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. Was very busy, which is always a good sign for smaller lesser known establishments. The waitresses couldn't do enough to try and accommodate you and I'd go as far as saying better than service I've had in Michelin Starred restaurants. The food was amazing...the rib starter I had was cooked to perfection. The curry goat with rice and peas was almost as good as my mum's cooking and you could tell was made with love and care by the chefs. My only criticism was that Fried Dumplings weren't available... but if I'm being honest, I'm glad they weren't otherwise I would have never made it out the door! Thanks for such a great dining experience...keep up the good work!

My friend and I popped into Biblos to grab a bite for lunch. I was curious and skeptical of the mix of Jamaican and Mediterranean foods. Also, no one from either ethnic background on staff (visually anyway). Casual atmosphere. Limited staff, so tables were dirty when we walked in. The cashier came around to clear a table for us. She also brought us our order (you order at the counter). We ordered jerk chickenbites, triple crisp fries, and falafel (not on the menu, but you can order ala carte). Of course, a ginger beer! Everything was great. We did ed up asking for more jerk sauce on the chicken, which made it so much better. Cool spot. I would give it another try.

Had dinner here recently. I love curried goat and could not wait to try it at this restaurant. Service was good. Liked the decor. Food came promptly and the portions were good. I was pleasantly surprised to see black eye peas in the rice but was happy to try it. The rice was undercooked which I reported and it was sorted. The goat was full of flavour and not too spicy but it was more stewed than curried. The meat wasn't melt in your mouth and the butter beans were a bit hard. Think it should have been cooked a bit more. Good attempt.
