This was our first time at The Water's Edge Wroxham, greeted with a friendly smile from a member of the staff, you can eat in or out with views looking over the river. We decided to have the Sunday roast, I can honestly say this was one of the very best we have had, went for the beef which is served pink, how I like it, if you wish to have the beef done a bit more was no problem, eight different variety of vegetables all cooked to perfection, the gravey was excellent and everything was so tasty and enjoyable. I can highly recommend and will definitely return. Having returned 2 weeks after our very enjoyable Sunday roast, we booked in advance for four people, inside by a window, we were told we would have table 5, on the day we phoned to confirm our booking and was told you have table 5, when we arrived we gave our name and table number, to our amazement we were told we have given your table to someone else who arrived on the off chance, the waitress said I don't know anything about your booking, seems to me the left hand don't know what the right hand is doing, why wasn't a reserved notice put on the table.

On a little holiday in Norfolk, visited Wroxham in the rain for a spot of lunch. We’ve visited Water’s Edge in previous years under different management so not sure what to expect this time. It turns out that it’s great! There’s a varied menu including all day breakfasts, light lunches, baguettes, burgers, fish and chips and a range of hot meals. We chose from the lunch menu at £10 which included a selection of hot meals from the main menu - we had Roast of the Day (beef or chicken - we had beef because I can’t cook beef to save my life 🤣). It was delicious and great value. We had a seat indoors (as it was raining) with a view of the River Bure (always amusing to watch people who can’t control their rental boats bounce them off the bridge!!). The service was friendly and helpful, restaurant was clean and nicely presented. My only reasons for dropping a star would be the service was quite slow - considering it was quiet (our visit was in May) and the atmosphere was a bit flat - though these might be because it was not in high-season. Lovely place, good food, welcoming and great views.

Excellent food, service and facilities, right on the water's edge. Calm, tranquil setting, even at the tables outside on the decking, despite proximity to the small hump-backed road bridge over the waterway. You have a front row seat to see the boats passing though below it! There is free parking on site for about 12 cars, but only a short walk away there are much larger public car parks. Well behaved dogs are welcome inside and outside the restaurant, but it's not really suitable for un-socialised or over-exuberant dogs. It's not a big property and there is no grassed walkies area nearby. There is easy access throughout for those with limited mobility on foot, but maybe it wouldn't be quite do easy for wheelchairs to manoeuvre at very busy times. The Water's Edge is certainly great value and worth a visit before or after your boat trip from Wroxham on the Broads or if you are just passing through and want a chill- out meal. We'll be back when we're next in the area!

From the very first bite, it was clear that the quality of this breakfast was exceptional. The Full English breakfast was a delightful medley of perfectly cooked bacon, succulent sausages, eggs done just right, crispy hash browns, and baked beans that hit all the right notes. The vegetarian option was equally impressive, offering a generous serving of spinach, grilled tomatoes, fluffy scrambled eggs, and a hearty portion of sautéed mushrooms.

The value for money was unparalleled. It's rare to find such a hearty, high-quality breakfast that doesn't leave a dent in your wallet. Every item on the plate was well-prepared and portioned generously, ensuring you left the table both satisfied and pleasantly surprised by the affordability.

As for the customer service, it was nothing short of stellar. The waiters were incredibly polite, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure every patron felt welcomed and well-cared for. Their friendly demeanor and efficient service added to the overall positive experience.

In summary, this establishment offers a Full English and Vegetarian breakfast that excels in both quality and value, all while providing an exceptional level of customer service. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a delicious and satisfying start...
