Olympus — Restaurant in Bromsgrove

Do not order from here, wether it be from Deliveroo or over the phone. On two occasions entire meals have been missed. I read my order from a list I had written, and ordered over the phone. A whole meal and one dish was missing. I called to ask and was told I hadn’t ordered what I’d ordered.

Either it’s too loud to be taking orders or what I asked for wasn’t understood. I was told very rudely that I the customer, didn’t know what I ordered, and what I had on the list infront of me was wrong. (The same list I’d read from.) The only reason I ordered on the phone is because last time this exact same thing happened. I got frustrated at being told I didn’t know what I’d written and read out. And was told that the manager on the phone wasn’t going to listen to my attitude in her ear. I wouldn’t recommend this place purely because of this. Seems they can cope with small orders but not a few meals in one go.

Would have been happy to resolve it with a simple. “Oh so sorry there must have been a misunderstanding. What I charged for is what’s been sent, what can I get you and we will send it asap.” Not straight...

Had takeout from this place for the first time today - I had the Special Wrap (Chicken Gyros and Halloumi) and must say it's one of the best I've had. Everyone else enjoyed their food too, but a couple of criticisms:

Chips were cold. This doesn't bother me much personally, but my family commented on it. Price is a bit much for burgers and burger meals - 7.95 on their own or 10.95 with chips and a drink. Most places that do similar burgers are around £7.95 for a full meal including chips and drink, so a bit costly compared to competitors.

Other than that I really enjoyed the food and will surely go back again...

I absolutely love Greek food, the chargrilled flavour that oozes through the food here is incredible! I've had a couple of their gyros dishes and I couldn't fault any of them! The chips are cooked perfectly that accompany the mean, seasoned well. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, the seating area within the restaurant is small, I believe they cater more for takeaway, both of which have been tried and tested, the food arrived here in Redditch still lovely and warm! If you're craving a GREAT Gyros/Kebab.. give these a try before any others! You won't be...
