Went in for food yesterday, we only receieved half the order so after five to ten minutes of waiting , had to ask for the rest of the order! I was so disappointed to receive a BLT with the bacon hardly cooked with rubbery white thick fat which the bread was was dried out and cold, the chips I ordered weren't in the fryer long enough and still hard and pale... on top of that, the half ale I ordered was definitely Manchester City prices rather than Bury. My partners gammon had been left under the heat lamps too long, no moisture in the meat what so ever. Never again

2 pints of decent larger 2 fantastic meals we had fish n chips & steak pie for £ 21 quid we would certainly come here every bury trip. Pool table, sports on TV Toilets upstairs & also on the ground floor have baby changing table in the disabled toilet . Lots of seating tables lovely woman bringing food to you very charming attentive host at the bar bus station right across the road perfect.

Great pub , lots of space , good staff , good food , only let down by the upstair toilets condition .if they were in good condition this would be a 5 star review . I'm sure they will be sorted out by the time this review is published . Plates hot the food was served on , bar staff really friendly , recommend if you fancy a pub lunch in bury .

Chose this pub for lunch as it was a green king ,but I was very disappointed. Me and my mum wanted a tea and coffee and the machine had broken ,and the barman said it was being fixed,so fair enough. I asked for a punk IPA they didn't have it,so I asked for a soft drink but not much choice as other green kings I've been in. We ordered 2 jacket potatoes with cheese and tuna,we waited over half an hour which was ok as we weren't in a rush, the pub wasn't busy,a handful of people in. When the potatoes arrived it wasn't well presented, there was a tiny bit of tuna on the potato and hardly any cheese I didn't see any butter it was very dry. So I thought when someone comes to ask how our meal is I will tell them . Noone came and asked. We went to the toilet before leaving,a coat hanger was on the floor in mine along with toilet paper. I looked at the other toilets they were dirty as were the sinks. I wouldn't go here again or recommend it. The barman was friendly but served a man before me and I was at the bar first ,I just...

I have never had a bad experience in the pub good beer, food not bad, my experience it's an excellently good pub. Paid a recent visit to the pub and the experience was just what I have been expecting good beer selection top notch customer service and excellent atmosphere in the premises. Just been informed that the premises will be closed for a refurbishment from the 8/07/2019 its about time the premises was given the make over.

Had the pleasure of being able to make a visit to the premises on 28 \02 \2020 pm boy did I have a shock I got a pint of beer costing £2.75 per pint in Manchester, but the same pint costs £3.16 per pint, Talk about over chargeing this takes the biscuit,...
