The Bank Bury — Restaurant in Bury

Used to go in here when it was Yates as it is close to the bus station. However, we stopped going in as it was looking very tired, and to be honest, the people going in made us feel unsafe! We did a bit of shopping and were walking past to go to the other pubs we started to visit and noticed they had changed their name. So thought we would pop in for 1 and see if it had improved. Wow, what a difference! They have gutted the place. New carpet new seats, toilets that are fit for purpose. Thankfully they haven't put the cost on the beer prices. Very impressed with the work done. Not a bad pub to visit the drinks are expensive and when you inherit a £15 price tag for 3 drinks it's coming to something when a pub around the corner can sell you the same 3 drinks for £10 other than that all is good, I had the pleasure of being served by friendly bar staff which is always a big + to me.
