Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Bury

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill a lot over the years, like most Morrisons Cafés. And the prices have gone the other way....

Latest visit today. No table numbers available when ordering, hardly any cutlery out, NO decaf or hot chocolate drinks available at all, one out of the 2 coffee machines wasn't even working. Hot drinks are now £2.50! I think they were £1.50ish not long ago? It's a shame how Morrisons let this happen to their cafes, they all feel like they need more staff to cope.

As for the meal itself, I ordered the vegetarian all day breakfast and it was very nice, but it came with marg for the toast when Morrisons used to always give you butter. £7 felt too much for this really, £5 would be a much fairer price from a supermarket café.

It's a no thrills place to eat but at least be reliable and have everything in...

Good cafe and food not bad although no good if you're dieting not the greatest of healthy options. By the end of the day it isn't great. Staff need to keep on top of wiping tables and emptying the tray holder otherwise people leave their pots everywhere. They also seriously need to sort the buttered toast out. Pre buttering toast yuk. I got mine and it was swimming. Would rather pay extra and get little butter pattys. Always extremely busy at lunch time so don't go if you just wanted a brew. All in all not a bad place good for small meetings although there is limited Wi-Fi and had my any...

my experience overall was absolutely terrible. I had sausages and mash. The sausages were on the cold side quite like rubber and the mash was like a clay/Play-Doh texture. The gravy was clumpy. The peas were quite nice because they were nice and sweet, but the dish overall was just a no. I didn't deed, enjoy the Coke and the fried bread that I ordered on the side as an extra The fried bread had more flavoured than the whole meal, not to mention the waiter that had came over and passed me. My food is very rude and didn't offer me any sauces like he offered every other single table here....
