Society on Silver St. — Restaurant in Bury

Booked for a bottomless brunch Friday night. It happened to be RnB brilliant as wasn't expecting it thought brilliant. Booked table for 19.30.. Seated at 19.30. It was table service. Staff went to every table apart from ours.. I managed to speak to waiting staff at 19.55. I asked if it was possible to order a drink as we had been there a while and the waiting staff had given drinks to all other tables around us. She said I would have to wait until it was time for the rnb to start. I asked why nobody else had to wait and had drinks. She told me that they had paid.. I said I didn't get asked and wasn't given an option. She then asked if I would like to order a drink. I said yes and asked about the drinks that's on the bottomless brunch. I asked if it was just cocktails as I can't have fizzy due to a medical issue, and there was only one that wasn't fizzy! Was told no that was it just the one. I asked if it was possible to have house shorts and fruit juice. She said no! I said it states it on the website that I can.. she said yea but not tonight as its rnb ( what that has to do with fizzy I don't know) I said so for £40 I can have one option of drink? She replied well yea! I can get my manager and she will say the same!! Sooo decided to leave.. won't be going again! I would of given zero stars if i had the option.We will stick to the slug...

This bar has recently been reopened after a revamp (the bar previously had been in town for seven years and closed). As part of their reopening they did a social media promotion in which if you follow and book using that link you get 50% off your food. I'm so glad we went. The bar is really nice inside, great vibe. The staff all friendly. The food was lovely, the do pasta and pizza. I got Chicken Parmigiana to start and it was massive. So tasty. My wife and I also shared a half/half cheese and tomato garlic bread and it again was delicious. I then got a pizza, the aubergine and goats cheese with pesto which was a lovely flavor and something different which I enjoyed. p.s. great pizza base. My wife got a pesto rigatoni. Couldn't fault it. I am so pleased with this new bar/restaurant and will be coming...

I booked a table online and I couldn’t seem to find anything mentioning dress code, so I turn up with my partner and I see a sign on the door about dress code, understandable for a place like this but they didn’t give me any warning for this online, So I asked a member of staff who came out to open the doors if my outfit was okay he said he will go and ask now, after 15 minutes of standing outside waiting for this member of staff to return we left. I haven’t tried the food but it looks goood and the atmosphere inside looks spectacular but it is not acceptable to leave customers outside for 15 minutes...
