Wyldes was refurbished approx 5 months ago. The decor is alot more upscale than it used to be and the furnishings very fresh. The ambiance is wonderful, the staff polite and friendly. We went for dinner at approx 5pm and there was plenty of seats available, music not too loud. The stone baked pizzas were fresh and you can see them making it as you wait. Prices are very reasonable, bargain in fact. A stonebaked pizza and two drinks for £10 The pizza was beautifully cooked and tasted amazing. I would highly reccommend.

Really great night out. Inside of pub is beautiful and the drinks are great. I had 2 rounds of trailblaizer shots and what the guy behind the bar (I think his name is Dylan) called a death shot. He personally really made my night. Will be visiting again with my mates.

Popped in for a couple of Gold before heading off home, far better vibe since my last post! Now serving food again, all in all getting back to what made it one of my top 3 pubs in Bury

Me and my family went 3 months ago and the food was fab!! We went yesterday and it was bloody awful! The menu had changed and the food was terrible! My mum had scampi and chips with homemade tarter sauce and the sauce came in a Heinz sachet. I had sausage and mash with red wine and onion gravy. I literally had 5ml of gravy on my meal, and it was certainly not what It said on the menu!! Someone brought me some more gravy which was bisto - and still lumpy... My dad had steak pudding and chips and he said the 'pudding' was rock solid. All of us had peas and they looked withered!!! Was an awful dining experience and a day later 2/3 of us are feeling very ill! Will not be eating again here! The pub itself however is beautiful, just the service and food need ALOT of...

Really lovely cosy pub. Not long left from there and fortunately for me they had a young girl singing and she was brilliant! I found a cosy seat next to a fire and enjoyed the artist. Friendly locals are engaging and friendly staff! Definitely a must if you're in the area. I didn't try the food so can't comment but beer was spot on and even cheaper than my local Joseph Holt's pub! Well done to everyone and thanks for a nice afternoon! Definitely...
