Something close to business up front, party in the back could apply here. Old school pub at the front, in fact Bury's oldest pub, cask ales, malt whiskeys, candles and a real pub atmosphere. Ale well kept and good range of cask, wine and fizzy stuff. Food served seven days and all fresh prepared, none of this wetherspoons microwave nonsense.
Visit on weekend evening and find the back end of the pub complete with DJ or live band and a huge bar to cater for wine, cocktails, shots and whatever else takes your fancy. Or hide up the front and relax.
Something here for everyone,...

We only stayed for 2 drinks, but I'd certainly go in again if I was out in Bury again. Definitely...
