The atmosphere in here was warm and friendly and was filled with local people who made us very welcome. We chose to eat here after a bad dining experience the previous evening at the hotel we stayed in. The staff were warm and friendly and we were warmly welcomed by the lady behind the counter who even catered for our dog by bringing her a sausage for her breakfast too. What a fantastic cafe, and as a bonus dog friendly too. 👍 Plenty of space to park the MTB outside. At a loss to understand why pedestrians / cyclists would pass this cafe to go in to the town for portion controlled over priced breakfasts. Great menu, I had the Full Monty breakfast, good portion size and great value. Served by Victoria, the proprietor, very friendly and welcoming service. Sorry, but the traditional English brekkie ingredients are just not up to par. Cheapest sausages possible and the mushrooms tiny, toms watery. Bacon overcooked. I've been before, and I think if you stick to one of the rolls you get better value. Friendly-ish service depending who you get. My daughter enjoyed a milkshake. But at £6, that's almost robbery!
