A Must-Visit in Sowerby Bridge! The Hogs Head Brew House is a true gem and a fantastic spot for anyone looking for great beer, a friendly atmosphere, and a place where their four-legged friends are just as welcome.
The beer selection is absolutely brilliant. They have a fantastic range of their own brews, and every pint I've had has been top-notch—fresh, full of flavour, and clearly brewed with care. It's the kind of place you can trust to serve a perfect pint every time.
What really sets this place apart, though, are the staff and the overall vibe. The staff are incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and always happy to chat and offer recommendations. This friendly service, combined with the perfect, relaxed atmosphere, makes you feel right at home the moment you walk through the door. And for dog owners, it's a paradise! The fact that it's genuinely dog-friendly is a huge bonus, making it the ideal place to stop for a drink after a walk.
Oh, and you absolutely can't leave without trying one of their pork pies. They are seriously good—the perfect accompaniment to a great pint and a delicious treat to round off the experience.

It's popular with the younger end out for the night and middle aged and older out for a pint and a natter you can go in with your dog when you're out for a walk and take the kids Give it a go you'll be...

Dogs allowed inside and out always a bonus, they brew their range of beers, and also have guest beers and a wide selection of spirits and wines. The only thing missing is they don't serve food, I think when they first opened a few years ago, there was talk of serving food. I think they have the facilities, i.e., a kitchen they would make so much more profit on food, I'm sure. Great venue for families, groups, couples, or singles , very popular in the sunshine, but very cosy inside as well, good mix...
