A friendly cafe with seating indoors and out and a restored waterwheel. Which is a first for me, but fascinated everyone who came to have a look. It makes the cafe very unique, with lots of information on the history of Hebden Bridge all over the walls. There is a gift shop attached, which sells various locally produced products at different price points. Was fascinated by the old camera lamps which I loved. They did sandwiches, jacket potatoes, soup, cakes and drinks with a gluten free option on the cakes. I decided to go for the courgette and lime cake with a tea, which looked amazing. The cake was really nice and filling and tasted lovely of lime. Had a pot of tea and was also given a pot of water, so got several cups out of it. The drinks and cakes were very reasonably priced and you could tell that my cake was homemade.

So friendly and hospitable- and lovely atmosphere - lovely Riverside town centre location and within a beautifully restored Mill. Superb fresh coffee and high quality food. Cannot recommend it highly enough- shares ground floor with a lovely gift shop selling a wide range of quality items - cafe accessed by walking through the shop. Lovely too that wall decor includes boards with comprehensive history of the mill and town.

Lovely cafe full of character behind the craft & gift shop in this historic mill building. Ample seating indoors and by the entrance to the mill shop. Friendly and efficient service from the staff and quality food, cakes & drinks at reasonable prices. Wall displays illustrating the history of the mill with a working water wheel in the cafe add to an interesting and pleasant environment & atmosphere. Recommended !

Pensioner paradise, food and coffee doesn't stand up next to all the other excellent options in Hebden Bridge.

Every time we've tried this place we've been told there's a new chef and the menu is limited. When we do get what we ordered, it's disappointing. This place is great for the over 60s crowd and it's great that there's somewhere that caters to them. As soon as you walk in you're greeted with an almost empty restaurant where besides you and the staff, everyone is at least 40 years older.

I just think it's a huge missed opportunity to not serve top notch food and really good coffee in such a big iconic building. With a bit of a restyle/refresh, some really great menu items, and trained barista on a half decent coffee machine, you could be filling those prime...

A beautiful experience that MUST be repeated. The Food is freshly prepared and the Soups are very, very tasty with many varied combinations eg celery, cauliflower and broccoli. The Scones are a MUST, but hurry because they're Sold Out rather quickly, especially the Cherry 🍒 Scones. The Prices are unbelievably Low but the Quality is very HIGH. History of Hebden Bridge is all along the Walls which makes interesting reading. The Staff are welcoming and friendly. Much Praise 👏 for cheeky NIGEL ( apparently he ties naughty people to the working Water Wheel, or so he claims!), Angela's a little Angel 😇 and her daughter who is the Chef is absolutely AMAZING 👏. As I've said, it's a beautiful experience to be REPEATED. Thank you...
