CALLED INTO HEBDEN AFTER PITCHING OUT TENT AT OLD CHAMBER FARM. SUPER HUNGRY AND NOT SURE WHERE TO GO SO TOOK A PUNT ON JK'S. I GOT CHICKEN BLACK BEAN AND THE LANDLADY GOT BEEF BLACK BEAN WITH EGG FRIED AND A SIDE OF CRACKERS. ALL IN £21. EXCELLENT MEAL, SUPER TASTY AND LARGE PORTIONS. SO LARGE WE ONLY HAD 1/2 EACH! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. TRY TO ORDER IN ADVANCE AS THERE MIGHT BE WAIT OF 15 MINS BUT I USED THAT TIME TO GET A BEER AT THE BOTTLE SHOP JUST DOWN...

Hands down my favourite Chinese in the area, and we are lucky enough to have several really good ones close by. In the possibly hundreds of meals I've had from JK's in the past decade, the level of quality has been amazing, they are always on their game. Great choice of vegan dishes. Not impressed at all the chicken/blackbean dish was gloopy not a nice sauce and you could turn it upside down without lid on and wouldn't fall out. The chicken fried rice was bland as was the noodle soup and the chips were all little hard crisps had saved up for a treat and threw it in the bin and had toast prawn crackers were OK that's all that was won't...
