Mexi Bean — Restaurant in Calderdale

I visited Huddersfield from London for personal health reasons. I'd had a long, hard day and all that I needed was some warm food, the hotel restaurant was closed! I placed the order on UberEats and followed up with a call directly to the company where I had the pleasure of speaking with Chelsea, I explained my situation and also that often when ordering food in general via UberEats the food arrives cold therefore please keep the drink in a separate bag and seal the bag with the food if possible a very polite "Off course sir" was the reply.

Shortly after the driver was already outside my hotel, 10 minutes earlier than expected, polite call to make me aware he was outside and when I went down in the reception I was greeted with beaming smile.

The food box had been sealed in extra foil, very warm, tasted absolutely delicious! There werr extra natchos also. To top it off they added a complimentary dessert, I suppose that was to put a smile on me and of course to my already smile from the customer service, I was touched.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Chelsea and the driver, who I felt may have also been a part of the company. It's people like you that deserve the highest of praises. THANK YOU!

I can't recommend the food highly enough. Having staff like this everything about the company...

It’s a shame the old bank had to go I had my doubt s but to be replaced by a Mexican themed (taste ) restaurant his something new to brighouse which is full of other takeout s or pub establishments so today I am tasting Mexican I must admit on first impressions very clean plus the back ground music is very relaxing now it’s just to taste the food which is now being prepared . Breakfast burritos taste delicious I mean the flavours just dance off your tongue I was a bit afraid of any kind of spices but they just seem to complement the food the food portions are very decent I’ve eaten like half of burrito & I’m full but it’s been very filling plus added fresh spicy taste but just right / fresh is best I must admit I like what I am seeing plus eating that was a very enjoyable meal oh before I forget the servers were very welcoming I believe the owner was present setting a good example to her staff by wearing poppies also well mannered plus all in all a very good impression on my very first visit plus can see myself calling back plus sampling the brunch menu or treating myself to a milkshake normally something new I’m sceptical about but this is a big positive to have in little old brighouse I would highly recommend giving this place a visit I hope on my second visit it’s just has good .

If I could give 0 stars.... I would. Restaurant confirmed the just eat order - waited over two hours and nothing arrived. I then decided to go down to the restaurant and the shop itself was locked up and shut. I then decided to ring the mexi bean express in Halifax which advised they had been given the order instead - I rightfully asked for a refund of the delivery charge (which may I add is £6.50) as I had waited over two hours and had to physically leave my house to go the restaurant itself... defeating the whole object of ordering a delivery and who I presume is the chef refused and said there's nothing they can do and we either wait for the food or to cancel it - customer service absolutely shocking and not professional in the slightest- very rude and most certainly had an attitude. Had no phone call to advise of any changes or delays and not even an apology. Not to mention after spending over £40 I would have at least expected the food not to turn up cold. Horrific experience - wouldn't recommend and most certainly won't...
