From the moment we stepped into Meze, we were wrapped in warm hospitality and the unmistakable aroma of authentic Mediterranean cooking. This place doesn’t just serve food—it delivers an experience.

Starters? Sublime. The calamari was perfectly crisp on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside—no rubbery disappointment here, just golden-fried perfection. And that mixed dip selection? A flavour explosion! Silky hummus, rich taramasalata that makes you question every other version you’ve had.

Then came the sea bream—grilled to absolute perfection. Delicate, flaky, and seasoned with a touch of magic (or at least that’s how it felt). The balance of char and citrus made every bite sing.

And just when we thought we couldn’t fit another forkful the baklava arrived like a sweet, sticky miracle. Layers of pastry, honey, and nuts that somehow managed to be both rich and light. A flawless ending.

As lovers of Greek food, we were excited to try this restaurant. Upon arriving they said they didn’t have a booking for us! Our friends booked the table and we were informed at the time of booking we had the table for 2 hrs only! The food was great, although very little time between courses. We were then asked to leave our table even though we still had our drinks to finish, this was now 8.10pm we agreed and said no problem and asked if we could stand at the bar to finish our drinks, we were told at first NO….then told we could stand at a table at the entrance for 5 minutes only as that table was going to give them a revenue of £300. The manager was extremely rude and seemed like he was under pressure in my opinion and didn’t handle the situation professionally at all. He made us feel we were now an inconvenience and not welcome. We’d had a fantastic night and that was just a sad ending to our evening. So much so we will never go to this restaurant again or...

Not a very good 1st experience. Service was rushed. Ordered food around 530pm and was kicked out at 7pm! I ordered a small mixed kebab meal for my main costing £15 and boy was it small. The meat quantity was 2 pieces 1" squared lamb and same for the chicken and the rest was made up of, couscous with a sauce on top I didn't like, pickled cabbage, a white sauce. I ate 1 piece of lamb, very dry and I wasn't sure about herbs/spices so I ate 1 piece of chicken, this dry also. I tried the other piece of lamb, this time I really didn't like the herbs so I returned my plate. When the bill came, I asked if I could have deduction, because I ate some of the meat they point blank refused. I didn't even eat any of the cabbage, salad, dip, rice and what ever else was on my plate. So in essence I paid £15 for 3 pieces of meat. Very expensive meal and bad...
