Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Calderdale

1 hr 45 mins no pizza went to store as no one would pick up the phone - awful service we will see about the food. Sat here waiting still - seen a few people with same problem and some one else with wrong order, offered complimentary ice cream better than nothing for the hassel 😒 so got home at last my meaty one was nice and hot, my wife's was tasty but not has hot as it could be and the crust was a little lacking in stuffing, the garlic source was weird more like butter.

Ok so we probably will try them again but some one needs to pick up the game in terms of customer service. An email explaining the delay and people able to answer a queer over the phone would have much improved the situation. That said it's not the store staffs fault but poor planning on the part of the franchisee or/and head office who should be supporting a new store much more dilligantly.

Note worthy was the young man who seemed to be a shift supervisor who was trying to sort ever one out (dude u we're ace in crappy circumstances) where as the older gentleman who seemed to be a manager was absolutely clueless, ineffective and...

Awful service but nice food. Ordered online on Friday and told to collect in 15mins. Went and hour later still waiting. Asked for a refund so could go to Pizza Hut and told that can not have refund but would send me a voucher for my pizza so its free next time (which unsurprisingly has not arrived. Getting the feeling Papa John's promises are empty). So was blackmailed into waiting another 30mins otherwise no pizza and no refund. Load of angry people. Staff uninterested in helping anyone. Although they made sure delivery orders were going out as they don't get paid if they aren't delivered in 30 mins. Apparently this was the same on Saturday night as well. Chaos and no interest in customers, only money. Get the delivery orders out, refuse refunds even if you have been waiting 90mins and don't pay for proper staff numbers. I really would avoid this joke of a restaurant. I won't be going back or to any Papa Johns as they obviously only care about the money not the customer. The food is actually okay but unless you want 90min wait then only order on a quiet mid...

We ordered a xxl regular margarita. We picked it up and a few minutes later realised it was very thin, we checked our order was for an original crust and not a thin crust then called the store, instead of apologising they went from quietly talking very normally to some form of language I couldn’t understand and I had to ask if he was talking to me. Eventually in an angry but understandable tone he told me I was wrong. I had to go back to the store to prove it and he begrudgingly made a new pizza taking the incorrect one away. The replacement was slightly better but as he took away the other box he didn’t replace the sauce which we didn’t realise until we were back home. Very disappointing food wise and service wise and I won’t be returning. Luckily as we just needed a quick snack for the kids we only wasted money on one pizza, we usually use this place twice a month where we buy 2 xxl pizzas and a few sides each time.
