What a lovely experience! The sourdough pizza was delicious, we simply dropped by for a late lunch pizza to share and felt very welcomed and at ease in this restaurant from the word go. Being vegan, we usually have to negotiate swapping cheese and meat for vegetables (we prefer vegetables to vegan cheese and vegan meat options) and are kept guessing about the additional prices for the new toppings we want. However, Sam made it very clear that we could have as many veggie toppings as we wanted for a set price, which was just brilliant. The pizza was absolutely delicious, all the toppings lovely and fresh, delicious passata, and we were supplied with some very tasty hot chili oil on the side to add to the flavour. The unique toilet upstairs adds a lovely quirk to the whole experience (for any new customers - you have to visit to find out what I am taking about!) We will certainly return on our next trip to Hebden! Thank you to Sam and team for making it such a memorable and...
Read moreHi only gave 3 stars for atmosphere, because I had a take away. I've had Sam's pizzas twice. I'm a gluten free-er and it's to them I refer. They are really excellent. If you're gluten free, go. I found them to be enough for 2 portions and are fine reheated. I've tried mostof the others in HB, none of which are up to much. Sam's have oil in thedough but not too much. Toppings are just right.. Not to much(like the three bears) just right. Reasonable price. Definitely my HB favourite. Also it's just opposite the park so you can sit in the sun or the shade on the grass or a bench, munch on Sam's pizza either with or without a cheeky little glass of red or white or a two litre bottle of white diamond. . So romantic.. All without breaking the bank!...

I have eaten A LOT of pizza from different places: Leeds, Manchester, Huddersfield, London… nobody beats this place.
The ingredients are fresh, service is always with a smile and the price is unbeatable. If you were to look for pizza elsewhere at the same price point you would be getting cheap rubbish cooked on a conveyor belt. Whereas here you’re getting quality sourdough Neapolitan style pizzas cooked in a proper stone based oven.
I’m happy to see the move from the market to a permanent spot and I hope you stay there for many years to come.
I cannot recommend this...
