KFC Halifax - Haley Hill — Restaurant in Calderdale

Been here a few times, and it can get quite busy. Main issue is some (not all) of the staff.

The first obstacle to navigate is the random two-way carpark system that has very narrow spaces and often has people (usually delivery drivers these days) abandoning thier cars anywhere and everywhere.

If it isn't some rude member of staff shouting at everyone else from behind the counter then it's the childish ones that you can visibly see avoid packing up large orders or making sure their mates order is done first despite coming in 7 orders behind me and then giving them some free gravy in view and earshot of everyone with a smug grin and a fist bump.

I spent a good £40 or so on a large amount of food which two members of staff could be seen skipping and arguing over then moving on to pack a small meal for one as it was easier. This meant we waited around 30 minutes as by this point they needed to cook some more chicken as it had all been put into the smaller orders.

As far as quality goes, it's an average KFC standard so at least when you do eventually get your food it's half decent even if sometimes the fries are cold and the gravy a little burnt but I've had the...

Good place. Convenient, with good parking, nice interior and standard service.

Service of all fast food places has gone downhill since delivery options have upped. So many of them are waiting for orders. They just seem moody all the time and take up space in restaurants. Plus, service staff normally talk to them more as they are used to them. (Not just KFC but generalisation of all places).

The problem I have with KFC is the prices. The expensiveness at KFC is now ridiculous, I buy the snack boxes, trying to save money and they are good value. Meals are not. Plus 40p for side of sweet chilli sauce is excessive when it probably costs them less than 10 to buy. Chicken has gone up in prices I get that but the amount you save from buying in bulk etc. And saver menu is better prices but also marked by smaller smaller portions!

Been to this one a few times at lunchtime, twice been empty, twice with about 6 or 7...

Really bad experience I had in this KFC Branch in Haley Hill Halifax. 1 star is very generous for me to give. I went to their drive thru service and ordered a bucket meal. The lady staff told me that it would be 15 minutes waiting time and they will just bring my order to the waiting area where I should park my car, which I said that's fine . I've been patiently waiting up to almost 30 minutes and my order still not coming, I looked at my side mirror and I saw cars in the the drive- thru getting their orders ( buckets of chicken) not even need to wait . I stormed in really disappointed and spoke to a lady staff and told her I was patiently waiting for 30 minutes for my orders and you guys already giving bucket of chickens in your drive thru customers without them waiting the way I did.
