I felt so ripped off this Friday evening especially when I was looking forward to this wonderful food I have always had at RAF Lakenheath. I placed my order on phone for a regular box of Fire chicken and a regular portion of rice. I was expecting 2 boxes. Unfortunately, the guy at the counter handed me the bag and told me its all in there. Wish I had checked. This guy was also chewing on his food while taking to me (probably eating my portion of chicken lol!)

Unfortunately, I discovered they gave me less than half the box of chicken and a tiny amount of rice stuffed in the same box!! It suddenly became a snack than a proper meal and they took the full price for it!

The box is a 'regular' size box. They have on display the sizes of both, regular and large. I was expecting this regular box i ordered to be full of chicken which as you can see is less the half the quantity with rice stuffed in.

I have had the same at Lakenheath and if you order a regular chicken dish it was always full to the brim with it and other sides in another box.

Gutted to be cheated by my favourite takeaway place! So sad to consume this 'snack' after a hard days work. Made eggs and toast to feel full.

Lesson learnt. Avoid these cheats...

I came here at about 11.45 for a bubble tea. There wasn't anyone at the till and I rang the bell three times before going into the restaurant next door. The guy told me the restaurant was closed but when I said I just wanted to order a bubble tea from the cafe he went and got someone for me.

Despite this hiccup at the beginning, the guy and the lady who served me were both so lovely and the bubble tea was delicious. The pearls are a little smaller than average so I'd recommend getting an additional scoop if you are getting one of the larger sizes. I had the pandan flavour milk tea and it was fantastic.

I look forward to returning for a meal and...

We did not receive good service. There were eight of us, along with a small dog. After ordering almost everything and with some of our drinks already prepared, we were told that the person with the dog could only take away, while others could stay and drink inside. This is unrealistic, as we were simply looking for a place where we could sit together and have our drinks. If we had been informed from the start that it wasn’t dog-friendly, we would have gone to one of the two cafes across the street or Starbucks. I hope that in the future, there will be timely communication about whether the place is...
