We reached out to find something tasty yet transportable that we could take on a punting trip with family. The service we received could not have been better. We ordered a number of different flavoured signature sandwiches, together with chips and Italian platters. Everything was ready for us by the time we asked for collection and we were welcomed with warmth, kindness and smiles. The food was absolutely delicious, so fresh with incredible tastes. The sandwiches each had something different and the flavours of the platter were enjoyed by all. We couldn’t have been better for our punting trip. We sailed dreamily down the Cam enjoying our meal and were the envy of everyone we passed. Everything was boxed perfectly which made eating really easy too. Absolute winner. Love that these guys are bringing something totally new and different to the Cambridge food scene. Right now Cambridge is drowning in Pizza, so to see these panuozzo sandwiches I knew I had to try them. We went in around 7pm on a midweek evening as these guys are open lunch through to dinner too. Between two of us we orderd 3 different panuozzos which was way too much, but my FOMO got the better of me..And now I saw they've just launched a meatball special that I want to get back in to try. The bread is nice and crispy and they are not shy with the fillings. Everything tasted nice and fresh with great flavours, especially the smoked cheese. Staff there were super friendly and helpful. King's Dough in Cambridge is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Panuozzo. Their variety is impressive, and the quality rivals the best in Italy. We tried different flavors, including Mortadella and Potato, and each was delicious. The Pistacchio and Nutella dessert Panuozzo was a highlight, combining sweet flavors perfectly.

We bought 3 extra for home and even after reheating them the next day, the Panuozzo tasted just as good, if not better. My favorite was the Sausages and Friarielli, but the Aubergine Parmigiana and Pulled Pork were also fantastic.
