So....we did not know this was a vegetarian restaurant when we arrived. However! We are extremely pleased. What we got: Appetizer - Masala Puri Main - Chick'n Butter Masala with butter naan; Paneer Chilli Curry Drinks - water App was incredible, we didn't know what to expect. A thin crisp of a shell, filled with a delicious surprise. Came with 6. Butter chicken was great, I've had many and this was at the top of the list. Chicken was soy that had consistency of dark meat chicken. Pretty amazing. Naan was my favorite I've had so far! The chilli is marked as hot but is medium at most. Crunchy onions and peppers covered in a thick spicy sauce. Server suggested rice was not necessary as it is not a saucy dish -- he was right but I bet their rice is great too. At the end we were presented with a cleansing type of after-dinner "snack" -- it looks like birdseed but give it a chance, it was refreshing and we quite enjoyed it. Service was great, everyone was very friendly. We will definitely visit again! While the menu is vegetarian, there are many gluten free and vegan options as well. I thought it was also impressive that they offer hot appetizers and room temp ones too -- I have a friend who is sensitive to hot food and would have loved this concept. Very inclusive and a delight even if you don't follow any specific diet! And my husband has already mentioned again how much he loved the birdseed. So do with that what you will.

A Disappointing Experience at Namaste Village Cambridge My wife and I were looking forward to dining at Namaste Village Cambridge, but we ended up really disappointed. The evening started off well enough with the "Love to Share Platter"—the onion bhaji and fried beetroot were delicious. However, when we got home and opened our takeaway, things took a turn for the worse. We kept finding old grey hairs in both our Veggie Korma and Chicken Butter Masala. It was absolutely stomach-churning and completely unacceptable. My wife was so horrified that she literally threw up. The discovery of those hairs ruined our appetite, and we couldn't bring ourselves to eat the rest of the meal. On top of the hygiene issues, the main dishes were bland and tasteless, comparable to supermarket food. For the GBP 64.46 we spent, the quality was nowhere near what we expected. The mandatory tip felt like rubbing salt in the wound, given the poor experience. Even the toilets were undesirable, which added to our overall disappointment. While the staff were friendly, the food quality and hygiene issues made the visit a letdown. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I can't recommend Namaste Village Cambridge. If you're looking for a decent vegetarian meal, I'd suggest trying somewhere else. See proof of purchase and hair.

Really nice restaurant. We were the first to arrive and seated swiftly... I later felt like if I visit again, I should probably call to reserve a table as it got quite busy (even for a Tuesday evening). The food was delicious. We ordered Vegan and there are plenty options. The flavour in the manchurin required a moment to appreciate. And the beetroot tikki on the Vegan Thali was a new thing for me. I noticed the menu on the door had a few more vegan options than the menu on the tables. Or maybe I am mistaken... I couldn't find the thali on the table menu but defninatly knew I wanted it from seeing it on the door menu. The staff were soooo good! We had the pleasure of Jemin as our waiter. It's always nice when to get someone who can explain and describe flavours so well. Great knowledge and nice to have met. A really welcoming restaurant. The manager informed us that the Norwich restaurant is much larger, so I shall soon find out 😃 Gets a 5* rating in my eyes. Don't know if they have on site parking but Cambridge is lovely to explore anyway.

I don't understand how this restaurant has so many good reviews. From start to finish my whole experience of this place is bad. 2 x people, On arrival the glass front entrance is absolutely filthy inside and outside, we stood waiting for someone to greet us, we where took to a table the size of a postage stamp and the tables are all very close together, we where left looking at the menu for around 15 minutes before anyone returned, we ordered our food with bottled still water, they brought our starter with 2 glasses of water no bottles so I asked her was it bottled still water she replied yes, I guess she could see the look on my face so she went away then came back and said oh you wanted bottled water so took our glasses away then came back with 2 x very small plastic bottles of water ( the ones you get in B&M 12 for £2, these were nearly £3 each, the mixed starter arrived with a selection of 4 different starters with a very small dipping sauce in the middle, every single starter except the onion bhaji was dry, overcooked and tasteless, out came the 2 main courses 1 x butter vegan chicken and 2 x vegan Mughlai lamb, they both looked like very runny babies diarrhoea, the vegan lamb was rubbery and very salty, the butter chicken was not much better, the rice was way over cooked and obviously a very cheap brand of rice, we had 2 x Gujwari Naan which to be fair were nice and tasty, all the food was brought out quite quickly but no plates to put it on, the waitress said I will get you some plates so we are waiting and waiting trying to catch someones attention so my wife went in search of the waitress for some plates hooray plates 🙌🏽

1 x mixed starter 2 x curries 2 x plain rice 2 x nann bread 2 x very small bottles water £78.00 Yes this is Cambridge but the food was very poor quality, the service was very poor and my wife also said the toilets were filthy. This is an honest review make of it how you please but I will definitely not be returning as there are far superior places to eat for...

5-Star Review for Namaste Village Cambridge – Exceptional Food & Service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our group of 8 had an unforgettable dining experience at Namaste Village Cambridge, even as walk-ins on a packed evening! The staff—especially Manashavi—went out of their way to accommodate us with warm, lively, and attentive service, making us feel welcome despite the rush.

The Food Was Next-Level Delicious! We ordered a feast, and every dish impressed:

🔥 Starters: Tandoori Paneer – Smoky, juicy, and perfectly charred with a tangy marinade. Chicken 65 – Spicy, crispy, and packed with bold flavors—an absolute must-try! Gobhi Manchurian – Crispy cauliflower in a sweet-spicy glaze that disappeared in minutes!

🍛 Mains: Paneer Angara – Succulent paneer in a rich, slightly smoky gravy that had us fighting for the last bite. Butter Chicken – Creamy, velvety, and perfectly balanced—one of the best plat based we’ve had! Veg Biryani – Fragrant, fluffy, and loaded with spices—even the meat-lovers in our group loved it!

The Butter naan and rotis were fresh and perfect.

Manashvi made sure our drinks were topped up, dishes arrived promptly, and we had everything we needed—true hospitality!

If you want authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine with outstanding service, Namaste Village is a must-visit. We’re already planning our next meal here!

Highly, HIGHLY...
