Las Iguanas in Cambridge is a great spot for a casual break after exploring the city. We stopped by for a quick refreshment, and the atmosphere was just what we needed after a long walk. The restaurant has a vibrant, relaxed ambiance with a colorful and welcoming interior that adds to the overall Latin American theme. Although we only had shandy, the service was prompt and friendly, making us feel right at home. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly mixed, and served quickly. The menu is quite extensive, offering a range of Latin American-inspired dishes that looked tempting, and I’d definitely consider coming back to try them next time. The location is also ideal, especially if you're touring around Cambridge. It's conveniently situated near several city attractions, so it’s an easy stop for a break or a full meal. The atmosphere inside was lively but not overwhelming, making it a great place to relax and recharge. Overall, Las Iguanas in Cambridge is worth a visit, whether you're looking for a drink, a meal, or just a cozy place to rest. The service was efficient, the environment pleasant, and based on our brief visit, it seems like a fun spot to enjoy more of their menu. We'll likely return to explore what else they have to offer!

We were here for Valentine's date. Pawel was our waiter. He welcomed us with his beautiful smile and made us feel great; he served us tap water straight away, which I like when I go out for dinner and asked us if we wanted something to drink a few minutes later. I love that in las iguanas, you order one cocktail, and you get two for the price of one. We took our time to look at the menu and Pawel helped us to choose between the various options that the restaurant offers, and this feels so good when you go somewhere and don't know the dishes or what they are like. Five stars 100%, highly recommended if you want to spend an excellent time and try unique Latin American food in Cambridge!

Went for bottomless brunch 03/08/24 party of 4. Service was terribly slow, usually bottomless brunch service is super quick with drink refills but we got 3 drinks in the space of an hour an a half. They attempted to make up for this with 4 jugs of cocktails which were based on our previous order of cocktails of which we cancelled as 2 of those tasted like paint stripper. Food is OK, don’t expect to be full as they are not carb heavy (unless you order £2-4 sides ie. Chips. (Burger does not come with chips for example) Waited 45 minutes for prosecco glasses after being served a bottle, told they’d be with us in 10 mins due to a shortage in glasses (understanable). But then being offered half pint glasses which were disgustingly dirty - see photo. Just constantly had to chase for drinks overall a frustrating experience.

This isn't like the Las Iguanas I know and love. Previous franchises I've been too in other cities are of a much nicer quality. The Cambridge one was so loud, you had no chance to hear each other while chatting. The decor is also very outdated and is quite dark and dingy. Even though we ordered from the app it took 20 minutes for our 4 drinks to arrive at the table. My friends ordered the Mojito and they said it had so much ice they couldn't taste any alcohol in it. When my cocktail arrived they apologised as they ran out of the proper glasses so the cocktail was in a small glass, no ice - the taste also wasn't great - for £13 a drink it's an easy pass for this place. I'm sure there are much better places to get a drink in town!

Came here for dinner and cocktails. The cocktails were yummy and decent value for money, but you can get better cocktails elsewhere for the same price. The food tasted good but the portions were small. The vegetarian options were very limited and I didn't understand why there was such a price differentiation between the different regions on the menu. To get seated by the window with the riverview you have to book in advance, which I didn't realise as it was my first time there. On top of that, you have to order on an app instead of with a waiter. So overall, it was a decent meal but I probably would not come back as it's so overpriced for a chain.

We enjoyed bottomless brunch yesterday and really enjoyed ourselves. Our server (Steve) was great - he was quick, friendly and good humoured. The food portion sizes were brunch sized (think starter more than dinner) so take it easy on the cocktails if you didn’t have a big breakfast or order extra sides! The cocktails were varied and delicious - I particularly enjoyed the Huana Party! From the drinks point of view - it was good value for money but the food was a little disappointing - I guess they make extra money from people adding on extra sides etc. All in all we had a lot of fun and would go again. Thank you Steve and your colleagues!
