Station Cafe — Restaurant in Cannock Chase

Service was really slow before they took my order. There is a friendly atmosphere with well known regular customers but if you are a new face it seems they don't hurry up to serve you and make you wait whilst they cobtinue a conversation with the customer infront. When they do get to you it is acceptable and pleasant. Its been some years since I have been to this cafe. The food was greasy and tasted cheap and nasty and for what I paid I should have gone to wetherspoons. Since arriving home I have also noticed my clothes stink of fat. I was only in there 15 minutes. Had a small breakfast . £4 good price ...but food was already cooked and had been standing a while .. plate was too small for contents so fried bread was dumped on the top ... Making it both soggy from the tomato and hard to get to the other food underneath it. Condiments were supermarket own brand and I'm afraid it all tasted like cheap and basic produce had been used. Would not go again...

got spoken to like rubbish on the phone, wasn't told a waiting time or price ito was just 'ok bye'. we tipped them at the door. we asked for bacon well done no fat, the bacon we got was like left over scraps the brown sauce was drizzled on and watery. on the egg and sausage sandwich the egg was solid and you couldn't break the sausages with your teeth. disgusting, wouldn't...
