Our first visit to Casa Mia and were greeted as though we were their only customers. We hadn't booked, but they did everything to find my wife and I a table given they were fully booked, so on that front, it was excellent service. The restaurant was run very well given the unusual layout and, again, treated us very well indeed. Food was of excellent quality and well presented but surprisingly not too expensive, so even better. If a fault had to be found, then I might say a little salty, although that might just be the type of chosen pizza. Still, the pizza was excellent, and all was consumed. It is most definitely a place to return to when we visit Herne Bay again. Thank you, Casa Mia We live nearly 200 miles away, so whilst visiting family again, my wife and I decided to pop back in to Casa Mia, given that we remembered what it like the last time, and we were not disappointed. Great service and superb pizza. The flavours evoked memories of when we were in Italy, so that would surely tell you something. Not much else to add other than a thank you to the staff there and again, a great pizza restaurant with plenty of accolades and recommendations from professionals, and that surely says something. I'd recommend this place and we'll certainly return for another meal there. Ps, my added photo of a slice of pizza doesn't do it justice. I nearly forgot to get a photo as I was keen to tuck in.

We went as a family of 5, with 3 children, 1 of which has additional needs. Whilst playing a game to ensure the youngest didn't fall asleep before dinner arrived, we were shocked to be told to be quiet, very rudely, arrogantly and bluntly, by a family of adults (particularly the father) who were sitting on the next table. Luckily, the restaurant were mortified when they found out at the end of our meal and loudly assured us that they are a family run establishment and that children are always welcome at their restaurant. Another table with a family sitting close by also reassured us that we had done nothing wrong and commended us on having dinner with 3 young children without any devices. We are grateful that we were supported in such a shocking situation and we hope that the family who were rude to us learn to approach things in different manner in future, or even better, just ask to be moved to another part of the restaurant if you don't like children, or find an establishment who don't welcome children! Thank you to all at A Casa Mia for making us feel welcome, we appreciate it! ❤

We can not recommend Casa Mia enough. If you’re a real foodie this is the place to visit to experience the true and authentic taste of Italy/Neapolitan cuisine. Absolute gem of a place! The owners and staff are always amazing and attentive and the atmosphere is always buzzing. We are regulars since it has opened and have never once have been disappointed. Gennaro who is the chef and owner who’s passion for food is evident in every dish and presentation and detail is next to none.

From the reviews, this restaurant sounded very appealing so we booked online. Could only get an early table, but that is to be expected when you book the day before.

Arrived and were shown to our table upstairs but sat right by the entrance which wasn't ideal.

The staff were friendly and took the drinks (no normal dark rum available) and food order promptly.

We started with the Antipasto misto which was good and arrived in good time.

Main courses, arrived promptly after the starter had been cleared, however, was where it started to go downhill...

My partner has the Spaghetti ai gamberoni reali ... It comes with the prawns needing to be shelled, which appears to be much more for presentation that enjoyment... Maybe it was to hide the point that there were only 4 of them on top of what would only be described as very oily spaghetti. Personally, I feel that 4 prawns on top of oily spaghetti was no where near worth £16.95.

I had the Pizza ‘A casa mia’, which I can only describe as ok... The base was stodgy and took too much effort to cut and chew for my liking... I suppose £10.50 is about right price wise for a restaurant.

Dessert... My partner loves chocolate and chose the giant Ferrero Rocher dessert. It looked amazing... Chocolate outside was great, however the inside simply didn't live up to expectations and the liquor filling in our opinion simply didn't work...

Maybe be it was just our visit and the luck of the draw, but it worked out quite an expensive and...

A Casa Mia has quickly become our favorite family Italian restaurant, and our recent lunch visit only solidified that opinion. From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the exceptional food and service, every detail was perfect.

My two daughters and I were thoroughly impressed with our meal. My daughters ordered the Penne Pasta and the Margherita Pizza, both of which were outstanding. The pasta was cooked to perfection—al dente, just as it should be—and the tomato sauce was rich, flavorful, and tasted unmistakably homemade. The Margherita Pizza was equally delightful, with a thin, crispy crust and fresh, high-quality ingredients.

I opted for the Diavola Pizza, cooked well done, and it was absolutely delicious. The spicy kick from the diavola toppings was balanced perfectly with the gooey mozzarella and tangy tomato base. The crust had just the right amount of crunch, making every bite a delight.

The surroundings at A Casa Mia are lovely, with a welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff were brilliant, attentive, and friendly, adding to the overall wonderful experience.

If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a charming setting, A Casa Mia is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be returning soon—it’s the perfect spot for a...
