I have never tasted coffee quite like it!! I ordered two cappuccino’s. 15 minutes later I tried to locate waitress that took my order at the counter. No luck 😮. I found another waitress who said “we are extremely busy”. There were no more than 10 people already seated and either drinking or finished drinking! Within 5 minutes the coffee arrived. Again stating “we are very busy” but no apology. Worse was to come sadly. I think they missed when putting the coffee in the cup. It was similar to my first ever cuppa aged about 7. Hot milk with a couple of grains of coffee for colour. This did have foam though, about 2”of it! All in all 20 minutes and £5.50 I have wasted. I should have taken a photo but was so annoyed and left after repeatedly stirring to see if the coffee was stuck in the bottom of the cup somehow....
Read moreOK if you are a dog lover. This small cosy coffee shop is now a pets paradise overwhelmed with dogs . Every customer seems to have at least two dogs which are held up at tables licking their owners food. THose sat on the floor are on long leads serving as a trip hazard for the unwary or jsut blosking access to the tables.
The staff are polite and the coffee reasonably priced , but I do wonder about the hygiene side of things wit hpet owners seemingly doing as they please.
If the owners want non dog owning customers ? suggest they only allow dogs on the outside tables.
Will be seeking another venue for my coffee - a shame because i used to enjoy the cosy...
