Chatterbox — Restaurant in Canterbury

While visiting from New Zealand I have been to Chatterbox three times, which reflects its appeal. After reading about the aims in providing work experiences for those who need a helping hand and also a welcoming place for community, I’m sure it will gain a lot of customer support. The food options are great and well presented and probably the best coffee prices in town. Lovely staff, very nice fit out and ambience. The concept quite closely mirrors that of a cafe near home in NZ called The Daily. A few years back that was awarded Best Cafe in NZ. Very best wishes...

We had a hen party afternoon tea in the back room at Chatterbox Café and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more accommodating. I had to bring my two young children last minute, and they kindly made child-friendly food and checked in throughout to make sure we had everything. I also loved the games shelf that anyone can enjoy — such a lovely touch. You really feel the care and community here. Highly recommend for afternoon tea, private events, or just a delicious...

Well done guys, you should all be really proud of what you've created. I did not realise until today that it was a Not For Profit company but this just confirms my prior experience of it being a great place. Popped in for a coffee this morning, great coffee and next time will come back for some food. Service was AMAZING, so friendly and just a lovely safe space for all.
