“Straight outta Canterbury, a crazy burger spot called Notorious BRG, where the patties are juicy and the fries are hot. It’s like they told us, ‘It was all a dream, I used to read Word Up! magazine’ because the burgers here are legendary.
When you walk in, you might feel like Biggie, ‘sippin' on Private Stock,’ because the vibe is chill and the drinks are on point. Their ‘Notorious B.R.G’ burger had me thinking, ‘I got 99 problems but a burger ain’t one’—the flavors are on another level. And let’s not forget the ‘El Pollo,’ bringing that ‘flavor in your ear’ with every bite.
The menu is stacked like a Wu-Tang Clan album—something for everyone. From the ‘Notorious V.E.G’ for the plant-based crew to the mac and cheese that’s ‘hotter than a pepper sprout,’ you’ll be rapping along with Run-D.M.C., ‘It’s like that, and that’s the way it is.’
If you’re feeling adventurous, dive into the ‘chili cheese fries’ because ‘cash rules everything around me, C.R.E.A.M., get the money’—and these fries are worth every penny. So head on down to Castle Street and treat yourself to a culinary experience that’ll have you saying, ‘Now I’m in the limelight ’cause I rhyme tight, time to get paid, blow up like the World Trade.’
To sum it up, Notorious BRG is a ‘hip-hop hooray, ho, hey, ho,’ a place where every meal is a hit, and you’ll be back...
Read moreWent here for burger and chips, and was pleasantly surprised. When you walk into the little hole in the wall, it is very small and cosy, enough for 7 if you sit shoulder to shoulder.
The service was fab, with the woman taking our order, and having everything ready in about 10 minutes, and it was all delicious.
We tried the standard burger which was excellent, tender and juicy meat and seasoned well with great flavour. I also had the La Primera, which was Mexican inspired. It had a circular tortilla chip inside, and other Mexican seasonings and Salsa. This tasted great but to be honest, the flavour of all the seasonings were so overpowering that the meat flavour didn't come out as strongly.
What really blew us away though was the cheese and bacon fries! Wow! They tasted incredible, and were the perfect texture, very crunchy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. They were extremely moreish. If I lived closeby, I would taken these weekly.
When I'm back in Canterbury, I'd love to come back to try everything else on the menu. ...

I decided I'd continue.. I was hungry..
Wasn't impressed, P.I.G burger was "pretty good" SUPPOSEDLY £8.50.. The Chips loaded with chilli sauce and cheese tasted like they had a ton of MSG/Salt in and no discernible cheese, SUPPOSEDLY £4.50 and a coke £2 my calculations that's £15.
Upon arrival at the place to pick up my order, they charged me £18.50 for my burger and chips and Coke.
Must be another case of customers uploading an old menu. Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't seem to have any prices anywhere until you come to pay. A dishonest practise that seems to be gaining popularity. Clearly by the menus available to me on here, it should have been £15. Had to eat the loaded fries with my hands as they didn't supply a fork or any takeaway cutlery or napkins for that matter. I won't...
