OMG!! The quality of the produce in this place looked off the scale. I am walking the Kent coast and Herne bay to Whitstable was yesterday's walk. I'd camped out at Walmer the night before and got the train in the morning to Herne to start and was looking for a coffee and bacon sarnie place. Until I saw this and thier amazing pastriesšŸ˜šŸ˜ I love food and love to cook and know quality when I see it. Absolutely huge too. The croissant is like a rugby ball! I had the Pan au Chocolate and I have to say (and I mean this) it was one of, if not the best I've ever had. Their sourdough bread looked amazing but sadly I couldn't carry it, as was walking the whole day. I've come on here really to say to the baker/owner that the quality of your produce is incredible and you have nailed it. The girls working in the morning were really sweet too. For some, it might be a bit expensive but remember this is possibly the highest quality you will get and its more gourmet baking. You are paying for that quality and the size makes up for it. Can't wait to get back to Herne Bay (which I loved by the way) and will make a B line for this place. And I'll be bring back the bread next time! Kudos to the owner/s Update - 28/08/23 I went back this morning. Amazing again and this time I brought bread back to Ealing. Photos attached of this wonderful bakery. Bread is fantastic. I got the small (which is large size at my local bakery here) seeded sourdough and another pastry. 11/10!!

Had a very delicious hot chocolate and cinnamon bun from here today, as a getaway from the cold. Very friendly staff who I had a great chat with. Will look forward to coming back!

Great coffee, baked goods are made on site and are outstanding. Very small location, but they do a fantastic job with the small space they have.

The most welcome coffee and massive tasty pastry I have been delightfully served Just when I thought everywhere was closed and still asleep at 8.45 and I was begining to feel rather helpless and lost I found this sweet coffee shop open. I was served by a wonderfully friendly barista who reminded me life is good she helped me feel welcome and was fantastic at her job a total credit to the coffee shop . My goodness gracious what a team , the bakery is out of this world , delicious and without doubt everything was baked with love . Even providing the most scrumptious looking animal cruelty free options for those who have woken up to the atrocious downfalls of human kind and profit driven business industries . What a divine way to start my day . I saw customers come and go equally as happy as me . The pastry was so good and so generous I was munching on it throughout the day . I would start every day like this . Definite winning combination ,...

Garage do great coffee, smooth, rich and like velvet. However, you pay for it. It's a tiny cup and £4. Like really small. I used to go here regularly, they did amazing pastries, freshly baked. However, their prices are absolute absurd now. Even more expensive than London. For a slice of banana bread, a slice to take out, it cost £4.50. That's more than the tiny coffee where they have to fly the beans half way round the world, roast them, grind them and make the coffee. £4.50 is insane for take out. I can go to any baker in Herne Bay and buy a freshly made professional cake for £1-£2, which is what I'll do from now on. Come on Garage, I feel so disappointed. I recommended you to everyone but you're now avoided because I can get a good coffee and bun for half the price elsewhere now. You've priced yourself out the market....
