The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, the nice young lady even called to let me know she was running a little late with our delivery. This is the first time I had tried these burgers so my expectations were high. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with the burger. I felt the patty was too thin and quite dry. I really like gourmet burgers and used to have them in London lots. I went to GBK and Gourmet Burger Kitchen. I only bought one patty as I thought that would be a nice juicy burger...it wasn't. I would have preferred it to be thicker and juicer as I think that's where you get the difference between a processed Mc Donald's patty and a good quality one. It was too thin. The starter burger should be a really good one which you can build further if you are feeling extra hungry or gluttonous! Also the junior burger that my daughter had actually looked slightly bigger than mine. A thin patty would have been fine for her..mine should have been more generous.
We had cajun and normal chips. I really liked the cajun ones and the normal chips were good too. I also thought the coleslaw was nice but the portion size should be bigger for £3. I was also pleased they offered a junior burger option. They should also offer junior sized milkshakes and junior chips.
We didn't try the milkshakes but they sound delicious.
At £30 for an adult and kids burger and chips it is extremely expensive. It needs to be on point for that as, for people now, takeaways are no longer a weekly norm for people. They are a treat due...

Probably, yes! And from someone who has tried the top 10 rated burger restaurants in London, I can tell you it's up there with the best (for their food).
So, the important bit, their burgers are juicy, cooked to perfection, and strong beefy flavour along with a perfect soft sesame bun. Dunk this in the magical bone marrow gravey, and your mouth will be dancing in heaven.
The chips are perfectly cooked, crispy, and a good size portion.
The service was quick and very friendly, Dan was chatty and knew the products well. Table checked a few times kept letting us know how long it will be.
So if you want a superb, fresh, tasty burger reasonably priced for their quality. Then try, Please, Sir! (Don't forget the gravey)
Some tweaks I would consider... All food is served in a take away containers, a metal tray with grease proof would look more presentable to serve the food on, save money on disposable costs too. And ...Sauces were served in decanted little pots, salt served in sachets. Use squeeze bottles and a...
Read moreWe have purchased food from Please Sir many times and never had any problems. However, when we decided to treat ourselves tonight after a long week at work, we were left feeling very disappointed.
My husband had ordered two burgers and a portion of chips on the Just Eat website and was informed it would take around 35-50 minutes for delivery. However, after an hour he had to chase the order as nothing arrived.
The restaurant informed him that they were just cooking our food and nearly an hour and a half later it finally arrived! On arrival, the burgers were hot but unfortunately the chips were stone cold. The driver apologised for the late delivery but after paying over £30 (for two burgers and a portion of chips) as well as an additional £3.50 for a 5-10 minute car ride, you expect all of your food to be hot and delivered on time.
Unfortunately, this experience has put us off ordering again from Please Sir...
