Tortilla Canterbury — Restaurant in Canterbury

Tortilla is just not the same anymore. I went into the Canterbury store recently and I got the option of getting a large or medium naked burrito bowl. I went for the large of course because I am a foodie and I will never complain about price however my issue is not the price but if I’m paying extra money I do expect a bigger portion size of food. The Canterbury branch is selfish with their food and it’s unfair for loyal customers like my self that absolutely love the store. I paid for extra cheese and they literally gave me a small container where they filled it only half way. Please answer why I am paying an extra £1.35 for a table spoon of cheese, it’s beyond greedy just to (save money) .. I am happy to pay the extra and money isn’t the issue , therefore I expect my food to reflect the price and be much larger. Also another issue with the store is I noticed the Canterbury branch put water in their chipotle cheese sauce (again probably to save money) but it’s soo frustrating and takes away how delicious tortilla food is because you watered it down, it didn’t even taste like cheese anymore. I understand saving money but you’re really depriving customers from what the store really has to offer just to save some coin. It’s disgusting. It’s still one of my fav shops, I just honestly hate the Canterbury branch...

A friend from California recommended Tortilla to me. It’s not easy to find good Mexican food in the UK, especially quick service, but Tortilla is a really great surprise! They were handing out samples of their guac one day, and since my friend had recommended the place, I thought I would get a sample to see for myself. I didn’t have the highest expectations because I’m very particular about my guac! To my delight, Tortilla’s guacamole has great flavor & it’s super fresh! I had a naked chicken burrito and loved it! Nicely spiced riced, a generous portion of juicy chicken and lots of options to customize. The vegan mayo was the surprise hit of the dish—just the right creamy kick to bring everything together. Ordered on deliveroo, first mistake: received wrong order ultimately this is not the restaurants fault but not a nice start considering what follows. We got our food, missing tortilla chips, missing a dip, okay we moved onto burrito. I ordered a vegan chilli but received beef, my partner ordered beef but received nothing?? clearly put his beef in mine and just didn’t do anything for his, i can tell it was mine because i ordered pico de gallo and he didn’t, beef was in the same burrito as the pico de gallo. Mine was missing cheese and sauce, which i paid extra for, my partner was missing the same, and missing the salsa too.
