KFC Carlisle - London Road — Restaurant in Carlisle

This KFC chain is known in and around Carlisle to be absolutely appalling, having a 20 minutes wait in there would be a good day in this KFC. After I opted to have a take away meal from somewhere else, my other half pleaded for a KFC so we went in and saw the queue wasn't too bad and ended up waiting with only 5 or 6 people in front of us. After waiting 30 minutes to be served (which we expected, and we're okay with) the lady that served us was polite and took our order reasonably quickly. We spent a total of £28.00 we were then shewed to the waiting zone and waited. And waited, and waited an additional 20 minutes. Now I would understand if the staff were busy, getting food out, taking orders etc. Except they weren't, one employee was telling teenagers to get out as part of their 'no teens after X o'clock' even though they were not causing any problems or noise until she asked them to leave. One employee came out through the side door to kiss what I presume to be his girlfriend (clearly knowing he would not get to see her for an additional 30 mins) and the girl who took our order stood facing away from the customers waiting for the cooked chicken to be passed through the serving hatch, Instead of taking orders for the next round of cooking chicken. And then to top it all of when we got home we realised they missed out a large bottle of Pepsi and a portion of gravy from our order. Feeling irritated after this poor service I tried to ring them to complain about the missed parts of our order to see if I could collect them on some other day but no answer.

I'm not surprised people walk by and choose not to go in because the whole experience is ridiculous. Considering Penrith has a drive by KFC it is clearly possible to cook chicken to that level of efficiency so why is the Carlisle KFC franchise so incredibly poor.

A bad experience with staff and food quality on either the 15th of sept or the 8th, prob the 8th, where the food was thrown together and was an absolute mess with various things missing then they had the nerve to charge me and my m8 20p per sachet for a few sachets of sauce and the attitude was atrocious. But then on the 6th oct when we again used the drive thru the staff on then were brilliant especially the cheerful young lass that was serving us, they gave us plenty of sauce sachets & didnt charge for them & when they accidently left out a box of chicken popcorn from our order we went straight back thru the drive thru and they corrected the order gave us some pre packed paper bags containing all the seasonings and tissues and stuff we wanted and when we joked that we should get something for free for having to drive thru the drive thru again she said "oh we chucked in an extra box of chicken pop corn for the mistake" so all the stars iv give is for those staff and the only reason iv only give 3 stars is because the experience with the staff a couple of...

You walk in and every table is dirty full of rubbish everywhere after people before and no one around to ask to wipe the tables So I had to do it my self

Sad situation in whole United Kingdom... Understaffed and poor performance. People working overtime in understaffed busy environment so there is no sign of good service or some smile or happy energy.

After eating 30 minutes time... Someone came and started changing stinky bin next to eating customers and spraying the tables like is no tomorrow so all the chemicals and toxic smell next to busy tables can enhance the quality of your dining even more. Don't let me start about the floor!

Absolute kalamity

This is in wetherspoon,McDonald's and so on... Where is busy.... Staff shortage everywhere and everything is collapsing.

Take it that way... In Germany for example even the taxi driver is wearing cryspy suit and driving you in shiny fresh smell Mercedes and helping you with the baggage
