Jilly Beans Cafe — Restaurant in Castle Point

We had the most delicious afternoon tea at Jilly Beans Cafe. I would go as far as to say it was the best cream tea I've had and I've had my fair share. Jilly was so attentive and really wanted to do whatever she could to ensure we had a wonderful afternoon. The sandwiches were really delicious, the cakes are homemade by Jillys husband who is an incredible Baker, they are to die for. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Jilly bought us freshly baked, warm scones with jam and cream. Our pots of tea were topped up before we even asked, the service we received was impeccable. My sister is not a tea drinker so she had two big pots of coffee, no extra charge. I ordered my mum an afternoon tea box for delivery over the phone and the service was amazing from ordering to delivery. The lovely lady I spoke to on the phone was amazing and cheerful. According to my mum, the man that delivered the box was very kind, telling her to ‘get well soon’ (as I mentioned to the lady on the phone that she had just come out of hospital). I went with my family to Jilly Beans cafe today and we were very impressed. We were great Ed with a friendly welcome and the cafe is lovely and clean with a varied menu. Both my daughter and I had a salad which arrived really fast, was huge and lovely and fresh. My son had a panini which also arrived fast. All of our food was delicious.
